Anyone been to disney on ice? They are coming to the TD Garden in boston in december and I want to take the kids. I'm trying to decide where the best view would be. I don't know if I want to pony up the money for hte $50 tcikets or whether I'd rather sit further back. I'm wondering if anyone has ever been and if you know the seats that are on the ice, are they flat, so that the kids would have to look through other poeple to see the performance? Any thoughts on best seating arrangements?

Thanks!

If they are going with the full size hockey rink there will not be floor seats. The seating will start at the slanted loge seats so the kids will not be level with the heads of the people in front of them.

ETA: I have been to several hockey games at the TD Bank North Garden :)

We just went on Thanksgiving day and have been to about 10 other shoes int he past. The show was great. I would not pay $50 per ticket. We had 10th row and paid $11 per ticket. Look for specials and codes for your arena.

ok.. pulled up your venue its the 100 years of magic show. We saw that one a few years ago.

Use code MOM I get 3rd Row is Section 2. You have to order an min of 4 tickets

I can tell you all about it after Sunday!!!

I agree with PP. Keep an eye out for promotions and codes. We saw it advertised, but weren't convinced to go until we got discounted (floor level) seats as a perk of our children's museum membership. I'm sure there will be specials in your area.

I have to agree with PP, went to see it when they were in Baltimore. Took advantage of the $12 opening night seat special. Was looking straight on the "stage" and was in the upper portion of the lower level (make sense?). INHO, if you get too close, you tend to miss the "whole" of the show. Go for the middle ground seats and you will have a great time!!!

We were up pretty high, but was glad because my kids are little and they would have missed a lot. Don't feel like you have to spend an arm and a leg to get near the floor.

At what age did you take your kids? Do you think 2 1/2 is too young? Thanks!

We just got back! It was a really good show.

We saw kids of all ages (we took 2 3 yr olds). I think the kid sitting next to me was around 2 and so were the kids in front of us.

Even if the kids are squirrely, you should be okay. There is so much to keep the kids' attention, plus there is a 10 minute intermission on top of that. It really didn't feel like a 2 hour show. The sound was the perfect volume (not too loud, not too soft), there were some fireworks, but nothing major. The cast was exactly what you would expect from Disney. The couple that did Princess Tiana and her Prince whats-his-name were REALLY good. Alladin and Jasmine were also really good. Even though it was miles away from WDW, the atmosphere reminded me of FL.

Is that code for the td banknorth garden? I was just looking at tickets today for their Dec 26 or 27 show but didn't want to pay $50 per seat! What box do I put that code in to get it work?

Thanks!
