Disney on Ice was great

We saw the Jungle Friends one on Friday and really enjoyed it. We ended up on the floor, 2nd row. Honestly I think if you can't be in first row it was a waste, because it was very difficult to see. Gave me my disney fix until May...We were late because we couldn't find parking at Copps (I hate downtown Hamilton, btw) so missed the beginning but at the end got to see Mickey!!!!

I took my 11 year old nephew & 9 year old twin neices last Sunday here in Ottawa & it was great. The kids got picked to participate in the opening with the characters which was way cool for them (neices participated but nephew was too shy).

When I came home I was telling DH how mesmerized they were with the show (they live in Toronto but have never been to anything like that before) & we ended up deciding to take them to WDW at the end of August. But guess what...when I asked my brother if we could take them he said no...said he doesn't believe in Disney & there are better, more educational things out there for them to do. He doesn't have a problem with us taking them on vacation, just not to Disney. Some people just don't understand Disney. Can you imagine what he must think of me heading off there for visits 11 & 12 this summer?

Oh well, they're his kids so it's NOMB but we sure were looking forward to taking them. Maybe we can bring it up again some time in the future.
