Disney on Ice/The Lion King

Does anybody go to the Disney touring shows? We're off to Florida five weeks on Sunday and before we go we've planned a trip to see Disney on Ice (taking my nephew as a belated birthday gift) and The Lion King in Edinburgh. I'm so excited as I think these shows will really hype me up for Disney!

Never seen Disney On Ice but saw The Lion King on Broadway and it was REALLY good! Hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we did!

I am off to see Disney on Ice next week. Very jealous as I would LOVE to see the Lion King but just couldn't justify the ticket money as it would have been well over £200 for our family of 4 so decided that should go to the holiday instead!

I am off to Disney on Ice on Saturday . We try and go to see it whenever its in Glasgow or Aberdeen.

I have seen the Lion King in London and would've loved to go to Edinburgh to see it but its very expensive

I love both Disney on ice and the Lion King. We go to Disney on Ice every year.
Just to warn you with the merchandise at Disney on Ice - it is ridiculously overpriced. If you have young kids buy a light up disney toy from Disney store or elsewhere before you go if the kids like them as they are about £20 there.

We saw the lion king when it came to bristol. DH treated us to the higher end tickets. The seats were amazing as was the entire show.

We have booked to go and see disney on ice in November in Birmingham.

I have just bought, today, disney on ice dare to dream for October, so excited dd age 5 is all of a sudden into princesses so this show she will love. Good to get a dis fix as not going till 2015. I think she maybe too young for lion king. Enjoy

Hello! I am actually a theatre critic/reviewer and so I get invited to all these events. I'm just lucky that two Disney shows are coming in the month leading up to my trip! I shall post a link to my review when it's over

How lucky
I have seen both and loved them both so much especially Lion King. I was totally blown away with it, would love to see it again.
