Okay, just so you know, normally I do not gush...but I have to tell you that Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes was excellent. We saw it tonight, and it was sooo good. So, if you're thinking about going...GO! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :moped:

I'll second that. We saw it a couple of weeks ago. My daughters and I loved it. :thumbsup2

Thank You :goodvibes We are going in 2 weeks, we got front row seats & DD is getting sooo excited :cheer2: But I had not heard any reviews on it.

If anyone has the chance to see this show I would definatly try. We saw it last night. Both our 3 yr.old and 13 month old loved it!!!!! :cheer2:

I would love to go see it (and I am 38). McDonalds has a great discount code. Anyway, I have two boys 2.5 and 5.5 -- no girls. DH is willing to go, but has some reservations about going with boys (and no girls...seems I don't count :rotfl2: )

Anyway, did you see many boys there? Were the princes part of the show??

My younger DS is in love with Jasmine & Ariel since our trip earlier in the month, I mean totally in love. I think he would really enjoy the show. I think my older DS is still innocent enough to not realize some think it's a "girlie" thing.

What do you all think?

Oh thank you so much for posting! I'm taking my girls (3 and 2) Wednesday night! It's a surprise for them. Im so glad to hear you and the other posters liked it. -Lesley

I didn't see many boys at the show I attended. It was pretty girlie IMHO but if your sons like all the princess movies then they might like it.

So happy to hear this! We are taking DD on Nov 8th and leaving for Disney 3 days later!! Hubby said "won't we get ENOUGH princesses in Disney??" LOL I thought it would be a great way to get us in the mood for Disney and we'll also probably tell DD that night about our trip.

I will definitely look out for this one. We go to the shows every year. I remember going to Disney princess show a few years ago, and my daughter loved it.

Thanks for the review :) I'm taking DD in a few weeks. Just curious, do they give out anything to the kids attending? For example, last year DS and DD got the light up Incredibles wristbands.

jchick - thanks so much for this post - I had received the info about the Monsters Inc show coming to our area (while DGrD and I are in WDW for our 'princess trip' princess: ) - and wanted so much to see the princess wishes show this year (last year we did Incredibles and the kids LOVED it!). Anyway, I looked it up just to see what towns were getting to see the show and it IS coming - after Christmas !!! I never would have expected a second disney on ice show to come to town - she (and I!) will love this show - now I know when tickets go on sale !! :thumbsup2 :smooth:

We had front row tickets when the show was here last year, and it was SO good! I was a little worried my daughter was too young to sit through the whole thing, but she LOVED it. It was really great being in the front because at the end of the show a few of the princesses skated over and dd got pictures with Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty.

The tickets at the Wachovia Center have already gone on presale. I was able to purchase tickets today for 12/26 at 11:00. In fact great seats were available for every show. You have to have the code. If I remember correctly it is DG37 but I can double check. The tickets are $75 front row, $50 VIP, $25 lower level and some mezanine, $18 mezanine, and I don't remember the upper level prices. There was also taxes and service fees. I actually have 5 extra tickets for section 204 front row ($18 tickets costing almost $25 after taxes and fees) if you are interested. We accidently double bought. I planned on posting them on Craigslist but would let them go for a deal to a fellow DISer. Just let me know if you are interested. If you are looking for better seats they were plenty available as of this morning.

Thanks for the offer, shelly3girls!! We cannot go that day, we have to go to the Friday show @11. And thanks for the presale info - I was just able to get my tickets! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know how this compares to the other princess one they did 3-4 years ago? We are debating since we saw a princess one already.

Hi
I tried to get tickets for the lower level, section 101 or 113, put the code in, and the only section I could get was one that I didn't want. I think it was 107 or 107A. I tried all different days and times, and the same section kept coming up. I did this online with the code CP 37. How do you get tickets for the section that you want? I thought I would have to wait until 11/5 to call to get the seats that I want. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

I have had better luck by just calling. There have been lots of times the online search will give me a section I don't want. Then I call and ask for the exact section I want, and I get it. Good luck

Thanks Sharibrat,
I didn't think I could call now to get tickets. I thought I'd have to wait until 11/5 when they go on sale. I thought you could only get tickets ahead of time by using the online code. I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get tickets.

Did you happen to see the "Princess Classics" also? (I think that's what it's called anyway) I wonder how different it is. We saw the classics twice and if it's really similar we'll probably skip it when it comes to Philadelphia. But, if it's really different we'll go.
