Hi everyone! I was ELATED today to find out this is coming to our town, as I badly need a Disney fix.
We took ds to the 3 Jungle Adventures last year and it seemed to help that we watched the three jungle movies a lot in the weeks prior; it got his excitement level up.
So what is the basic storyline or movies highlighted in this show? Online it said something about Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy which will just THRILL ds to death as Donald is his favorite thing ever and he only appeared for a minute in the 3 Jungles show. Is the show all about them or are there other 'stars'?
Thanks for any info you can give me!
Also, has anyone ever taken a baby to a show like this? Do you have to pay for a seat for them? DD will only be about 4-5 months old and I dont know if it will be easier to find a sitter or take her along.........

Thanks guys!!

This was our favorite Disney on Ice! They have great music in it and lots to see...we saw it 2 yrs ago, so I don't remember all the details but it was really good. I wouldn't hesitate to take a baby...our youngest we took was 1.5 yrs, but there are so many kids and not too many quiet moments in the show. Definitely worth going to see.

This is our favoritre DOI show also...primarily because there is no story line. Instead, they have little scenes from many, many Disney shows and movies. That's what makes it so great...you really get to see tons of characters. And then Mickey and Minnie come out in between each scene and chat for a while, etc.

The ending, in particular, is spectacular. All of the characters come out one after the other....and there are just TONS! All of the princesses are there (with their princes), the gang from Nemo, Lion King, Pinocchio, Aladdin, the Incredibles, plus all of the classic characters as well!

The only part that we didn't love was that they did a long segment from Mulan. Nothing against Mulan or anything, but it was a really long routine compared to the scenes from the other movies, and the other movies are much more popular, etc.

If someone can give me instructions on how to post pics, I will put some up for you.

Thank you so much for replying. I am so excited now about seeing all the characters, and ds will love it as he knows so many of them from the disney singalongs and he wont get bored if they change all the time. Thanks for the heads up about Mulan, I (and ds) have never even seen that one so I might have to rent it when the time gets closer just so he stays interested.

Oh I am so excited but I know this is just going to give me just enough Disney to think I need to plan another trip.........never to early to start planning right! :donald: :goofy: :tigger: :mickeyjum

Is this the same as the Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey? We have tickets for that in November. I can't wait. :yay:

We are going to DOI in Chattanooga, TN on October 7th. I am taking my DD's and DD6's little friend because he has never been to Disney and LOVES Mickey Mouse!!!

I am looking for discounts if anyone has any codes they would like to share :thumbsup2

No, it is a different show - We saw M&MMJ last year - was fantastic!
This year our city just had Monsters Inc. - not very thrilling for a 3 yr old girl. We are thinking of taking a 5 hr road trip to catch the 100 Years of Magic Show.... is it worth it?

There are 1/2 off coupons in the Entertainment book. There are also coupons for Disney Live. Good for up to 8 tickets. I was so bummed b/c as of right now there are no dates for any shows around here.
