I just got finished watching a 6 min. commercial for Disney from Directv DVR Showcase. I can't wait to go back to Disney!!! Maybe in 2 years when my DS is older. They also give you the website to order the 2006 vacation planner video.

I saw that on my DVR a couple of days ago. It was the best 6 minutes I spent that day. I can't wait to go back. DH and I were there in November 2003 and can't go back until May 2007 :sad2: We were supposed to go next year, but because of other vacation circumstances we ahve to put it off until 2007.

I have the Directv DVR...will I also have the commerical on my DVR player? How do I check?

click the Directv button at the top of the remote control (DirecTivo R10 Box)

Scroll down to Showcases and hit select... should be in there.

Ok, I see it in the showcases, but it only gives me 2 choices, and doesn't actually play a commercial...says to enter to win, or order video, then info on each. How do I watch it?

Same thing on my (non DirecTV) Tivo. :scratchin Perhaps you get this message if you connect by dialing up, while those on a network connection can stream the video on their DVR? Anyone know? :listen:

Maybe the commercial was deleted on your DVR to make room for something else to tape. Showcases have very low priority on the DVR.

That could very well be the case, at least for me. Can anyone else comment on this? :listen:
