during Epcot International Festival of the Arts, is this the first year they've done it or does anyone have experience to share? I am thinking of booking the package with Biergarten or Rose & Crown.

They have done it since the festival began the first two years it was just Thursday-Sunday last year it moved to weekly

In my experience I’ve been able to get in by just getting to standby 20 mins before a show though each year differs

yeah definitely less crowded than candlelight or a concert. We’ve done both the dining package and just standing in line for seats. They reserve the first few rows for the dining package, but I’ve never seen the seating area full for any of the broadway singers.

We love these concerts so we've done a few of them each year since Festival of the Arts started.. Never done a dining package, we just arrive 20-30 min early in the standby line. The ones we've been to have filled up pretty good (weekends), but never filling to capacity or "standing room only" like Candlelight Processional does.

Do the sets vary based on the artists? Or do all the artists sing the same songs night after night?

They vary by artist so the first third of the festival for example Cassie & Patti will be frozen heavy sets while Heidi & Gavin will normally do selections from marry Poppins, little mermaid & freaky Friday
