Disney OCD--aka MissCammie is Disney Planning!

with the most ridiculous of questions...

First LOVED the TR. I knew from first post you had to be from Jersey because only the northern NJ folks would move down to the shore...hah! I am down the shore by the way...

Anyway - your title is what grabbed me - and let me say I think you are a much nicer SM then I am .

OK ridiculous question: The ponds facial clothes...do they need to be rinsed off after??? I have these, and I have used them and then I wonder hmmmm should i be rinsing my face? It doesn't feel like it...but yet that little voice says of course you need to rinse after....

So do I ?

I've never rinsed my face after using Ponds. I don't wear a ton of make up and stick pretty strictly to Cetaphil...b/c surprise surprise I have FUSSY skin:rolleyes: ...but as far as I know, the ponds are supposed to take off the dirt and leave your skin clean. My little sister is a make up artist and uses these religiously. She'll wipe off the make up and then use another one to make sure she got everything! Then she'll blot her face with a wash cloth. That gets the "wet" feeling off, but no rinsing. :thumbsup2

Where down the shore are you? WAAAAY down...or just partial down?;)

Good to know! My little sweaty boy will be getting a few wipe downs!

I just wanted to say I finally finished your trip report. It was shocking the way people kept emailing me about work while I was busy reading!
It was lovely! Your job is to love each other" is my new favourite phrase!
I have happy crying too (lots at Disney), I am big on manners, and I like to make sure my children are dressed nicely to match. I wish I could find clips that would stay in DD's hair!
I love the idea of giving the kids their own money to spend. Can you tell me how they earned it? Right now we just tell DD she can get one or two things on the trip and she has to choose but I like the fiscal responsibility of your idea too.
Thanks again for taking all that time to share! Looking forward to hearing about your new adventures!

Hi, Miss Cammie! I'm so excited that the CSs are in the single digits!

We'll have four suitcases, one will be empty so we will have room to take home our Disney loot!
Are you able to nest a packed suitcase inside the empty suitcase? I tend to do that and it makes for one less bag to look after and in these times, one less bag to pay for!

Have a great time! We're all looking forward to your trip reports!

Miss Cammie friends of ares do this with there child (shes artistic ) add a identification card for each child and they cant go out of the room unless they have it
we take a index card and put a wallet size picture the childs name and are cellphone numbers on it and attach to the kids ( if a small child a place it will be seen )and told them if you lose us go to a castmember and tell them or if a castmember finds them crying and scared it helps alot for them to get some identification ( lost child big place cant talk from crying ) and find you faster it works well i lost are 4 yr :scared1: and in with in 5 min a castmember was calling my cell saying i found him :cool1:

That is a VERY good idea!!! I wish I wasn't so controlling about what everybody wears, b/c I would SO use this idea otherwise...

*ahem*

;)

J/k...sort of...

:flower3:

Here's how I do it. I pack each outfit in a ziploc bag, then I label it with the kid's name and day they will wear that outfit. Then I let them choose to wear their own clothes, or their brother's or sister's! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

And thanks for reminding me to put Pal Mickey on a packing list :sad2: Santa brought the kids a Pal Mickey for Christmas along with a trip to Disneyworld. Guess what I forgot to pack? :scared1: Our poor Pal Mickey has never even been to Disneyworld--so to speak. I think my sister met him there before Santa's elves picked him up. Or something like that... at least I now have another trip to try and redeem myself, but if I forget again it will get ugly. Just the other day when we were camping, Jayden and my sister were telling my nephew and his wife how PM was tragically left behind.

That's my way too. :rotfl: It works great!

I can't BELIEVE it took me this long to find your PTR!! I am subscribing and I intend to catch up on it later today. But first, I need to go to my parent's house to work on a super-secret project for my sister....

Loved the last TR - loving this PTR!

But :scared1: Birth certificates? Do I need to bring my 4 year old's birth certificate to Disney?

I brought all three of my kids birth certificates... just in case at the TSA, I know they ask for picture ID's of adults so I brought them just incase never used them but I had them!

We leave for our trip right after you go to WDW and we haven't even started packing yet! :scared1: And there is only two of us! I hope you are stress free in your last week before you leave!

I can tell there is another wonderful, fun-filled TR ahead from Miss Cammie! Can't wait to read the new TR! Looking so forward to it! Thanks for sharing all these moments with us! Gives me a smile and makes me more excited for our next trip to WDW/DL!:goodvibes

Miss Cammie,

I have read many trip reports over the past few months but I have to tell you I am partial to yours (maybe because yours was my very first??) I hope you all have a great time with no rule breakers, rude or smelly people in sight. I also wanted to tell you that when I mentioned to my ds (7) about Sally's encounter with Stitch he too was outraged that Mickey would have such a friend. I told him that we must remember that different countries have different customs and with Stitch being from another planet, maybe it is not considered as disgusting and rude there as it is here. We then went on to discuss being tolerant of the customs of others, etc. Sorry to hijack but I wanted to share before Sally encounters Stitch face to face and gives him a good tongue lashing for his rudeness (like my ds would do!) :rolleyes1

OK - I'll admit it. I've been a major lurker on your reports. I was very excited to see your PTR and more excited to realize that our trips overlap a little bit. I actually work at a hotel and the other day I was helping a guest with luggage (bellman was helping someone else)... it was a father and a daughter about Sally's age and she had a I love Troy bag and I immediately thought of you and Sally!:rotfl:

Regardless, I love your reports and I'll be sure to keep a lookout for you and perhaps say hello while we're down there!

Have a fantastic trip. :wizard: Can't wait to read the next TR.

nope, that wasn't Sally and Jay...

or was it?

:confused3

Give us a wave if you see us! I'll be the bossy neurotic one...cleaning things...

can't miss me!:lmao:

how long are y'all staying?!

I'm so glad you cut your Trip Report teeth on my endless epic!:goodvibes Thank you so much for the kind words and good wishes!

Sally still has NOT forgiven Stitch. She insists she will NOT go on his ride again...

which totally means we will...

wicked.

:confused3

Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the first report!!

when is your trip?

We leave for our trip right after you go to WDW and we haven't even started packing yet! :scared1: And there is only two of us! I hope you are strees free in your last week before you leave!

We so aren't done packing yet. I have WAY over packed for the kids...and for me and Jay...I simply cannot help myself. I am an anxious packer...I know...BIG surprise there.

it's going to come down to the wire.

I like to live on the edge!

:cool1:

Hey Pre-trippers!!!

hope everyone is doing well and feeling fine!

We were having some TORNADO warnings here in New Jersey today. Good gravy! I kept humming the "Wicked Witch" music from The Wizard of Oz!:lmao: It was pouring down rain while the sun was shining and there were some crazy dark looking clouds over head. Creepity looking I'll tell y'all what!

Y'all will be glad to know I am NOT writing from Munchkin Land!

danger gone. all is well.

aside from the HYSTERIA of not being packed...being POSITIVE I am going to forget something that I'll DESPERATELY need...worrying that the car service will forget to pick us up at the airport...even though I've confirmed with them...twice.

basically a normal day in the House of CampbellScot!

:thumbsup2

We are getting down to the wire here...

Last night Jay bout knocked my socks off when he starts asking questions about DVC...real questions...in depth questions.

:dance3: :cool1: :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:

wheels are turnin in that head of his!

I've WORN. HIM. DOWN.

YEEhaw!!!!

;)

naw...Jay's a smart chap...he likes to think about things thoroughly...ask questions...mull it over...

We're doing the DVC tour on this trip and I'm really excited!!!

Plus our anniversary is August 20th...the day before we leave! It's our 2nd! In this day and age I think the 2nd anniversary is the Silver isn't it?

:confused3

The kids come back from being away with family on the evening of the 20th and we leave the house the next morning BRIGHT and EARLY! 4am!

:headache:

which means I will not sleep. I'll be too wired and worried I will miss the alarm to sleep...so by the end of day one I'll be on FOREVER with no sleep.

we are HARDCORE!

I'm really excited! So is Jay. Sally called this morning to tell me that she dreamed about Splash Mountain and LIKED it!:lmao:

we are all ready for a nice long vacation!!

I just need to finish packing...

:headache:

;)

Love the 2nd Anniversary, we had our 3rd April 9th...:cool1:

Now Finish packing.. or y'all be late for the Ball.:lmao:

By the way, I'm planning on doing a trial bag pack this next week and see how much I can get into each bag under 50 pounds.:rotfl: Thank you so very much American Airlines for charging for extra bags. :headache:

:headache:

Give Jay a big
