Speak for yourself Nebo! I was just getting ready to find a recipe to post to bump my report back up. Luckily you spared me because I have about 15 words with friends games to catch up on while I make dinner. Yes, I realize those are supposed to be played for fun.

I blew off my words with friends games last night to DIS. I feel so guilty - NOT! I am so glad I gave up farming and sold the cafe....

Yes, I'm with you there. I felt such pressure to expand my cafe for a few weeks that I was putting off making real dinner in order to make sure my fake chickens didn't burn. And forget about virtual farming! That's really exhausting. At least with Words with Friends I'm exercising my mind a bit.

Beautiful family but can I say when I first saw the pic of DD and DH I was going to post that she looks just like him, then I saw the pic of you and her and I thought, what a minute, she looks just like you. Then I thought you all three look alike!! is it just me or have you heard that before?

Animals really like me too, especially the four legged types with long pointy noses and wings.

I agree about 50 Shades, very poorly written but somehow addictive . I breezed through the first two but am having a painfully slow time getting through the third (see how I did that)

Tea drinkers are ok, we bring out a selection of teas and a pot of hot water. They can do it the way they like. Water drinkers (and I fall in that category), always get me, for a free beverage they are the pickiest. Ice, light ice, no ice, lemon slice, lemon wedge, lime, cucumber, sheesh, just drink already!!

Anyway, between you, Ponzi, Nebo and 50 I am getting nothing done!
Keep up they great report!

I'm afraid I'm pretty picky about bottled water. I only buy Poland Spring and my husband would get so annoyed and say there is no way I can tell the difference in taste. And then Monkston said she would only drink Poland Spring. And now finally he's admitted that he can taste the difference.

Ok, it took a whole lunch break (slow reader) but I finally caught up! Some quick hits:

How did Sheena get her liquid toiletries on a plane in their carry-ons? Travel-sized all around?

I always wonder why it takes people so long to grab their carry-ons from the overhead compartment. You grab it and go. You can put things in or take them out when you get OFF the plane. Now get out of my way!

Never thought to tip when supplies are brought to the room. Is that bad?

As for the "bad book" you were reading on the plane, I do not know what it is, but I can tell you the ending - they hook up. The end. I'm finding myself less and less tolerant of the "formula" as I age. I told my wife I wouldn't watch a Twilight movie after I saw the first one because I knew I'd get annoyed by the "just make Bella a vampire already, we know it's going to happen" fog hanging over the whole story.

We rationalized the whole "feed the animals junk food" thing last year by noting that it's really not good for us to eat it, either.

Awesome update Laura! Although seeing the pics of Mr. Squid and the squirrel just made me cringe... Cannot. handle. squirrels. they scare the bejesus out of me... they're rats with good PR... and they seem to flock to me too - it's as if they know how much I HATE them... I digress...

Can completely relate to your cover-up issue - I feel the same about eating fried chicken or bone-in wings in front of people I don't know... not gonna happen unless we've broken bread.

Oh and my mom? My mom's the reason why I will only buy paperback copies of "bad books". Our Kindle's are tied too - I can't kill her like that... plus of course, she thinks me an angel

I actually remember this vividly because she was so proud of this accomplishment that she pulled it all out of her bag to show me. She had all those travel sized bottles and I think they used Disney shampoo and conditioner. She is much less high maintenance in that regard than I am though. I could never do it.

Yes, you always know what the payoff is, in fact I usually want them to get together in the end but the middle part of this one was particularly bad.
