Disney Nightmares before the trip

Anyone have those kind of nightmares? We're 30 days out and I am in the mad list making phase. Last night I had a nightmare I lost my 2 year old son in Magic Kingdom. Before I lost him I realized I forgot a ton of stuff.

I have a feeling I am gonna have a LOT of sleepless nights!!!!

Yep! Mine usually involve realizing it's time to leave for the airport but I haven't packed yet (even though our bags are always packed at least days in advance). Or we get to WDW are I realize I never got our tickets, which of course wouldn't be a big deal... we could just buy them there. But it's always quite a tragedy in my dreams. Or we get there and EVERY ride is closed (a la National Lampoon's Vacation)

It isn't a nightmare if it really happened....right? We drive 2 hours to the airport. I print out our boarding passes. We go to had in the checked luggage and the lady asks if I knew my license was expired? What!!! I was horrified and ashamed all at once. My DH was angry, MIL was waving bye from the security gate (she wasn't going to wait to see what happened ) so that she could catch her flight. I called my Daddy bless his soul..Daddy's are the best. He drove to my house (luckily they are very close by), got my Passport, drove two hours to the airport and handed it to me. I was lucky I had a passport. I gave him my Chevron card to fill his truck up and we flew out about 6 hours later--to the tune of an extra $200 and another towncar, so another $100 there.

....and of course we had tickets that evening for MVMCP, arrived an hour late for that. My BIL was sweet and ran to Casey's and bought us a hot dog, which we ate on the curb...best dog ever (before the wheat bun)

now that license gets checked repeatedly and we have a license check before the trip tot he airport.

I just renewed my license in Oct., but now I'm sure I'll be having the "expired license at the airport" dream tonight. Thanks a lot!

We leave in 2 days and I have been having Disney dreams/nightmares! Nothing too major yet. The other night, I was so upset because we had forgotten to get my daughter her birthday button. I know I was dreaming other things, but that is the only thing I can remember right now.

I dream about missing the plane or the ship if we do DCL.


One time in real life: DD and I were going to WDW with a surprise on DCL. We wake up nasty early to go to airport which is about 30 minutes away. there is a accident in the tunnel, so I go another tunnel, run into traffic again. Finally get to the airport and I am about to bust out crying, sky cap takes our luggage and go through security in a breeze and just make the cut off point before they won't let you on the plane to board-did that come out right? kwim.

So would should have been a 30 minute drive, lasted a whole lot longer.

We don't leave until June and I've already had the following "Disney Nightmares"...

1) We (being our party of 15!) arrived in the afternoon only to realize that we hadn't made any ADR's for our entire 7 night stay...

2) On our day of check out, the alarm never goes off and we wake up at 10:45am. Nobody has packed and the villa is a mess. Our DME bus is coming at 11:15am!

3) We are flying out of Detroit (2.5 hours from home) and everyone arrives at the airport only to realize that ALL the luggage has been left behind!

Yikes! I have 3 more months to go...I wonder how many more "nightmares" I have to look forward to?.

Omg. I thought I was crazy for having nightmares about upcoming WDW vacation. I have had dreams that I lost my mother( whom has never been) and that I forgot to mafe ADR's. I litterally wake in a panic almost in tears! But I'm very glad I'm not alone!

I had a nightmare last night We were on the plane and it was all quiet and the whole plane was waiting for take off when DS3 flung off his seat belt and jumped out of his seat and went running up and down the aisle, laughing like a madman and he would not sit back down. The whole plane was yelling because he was delaying take off. It was AWFUL!

Every time we go on vacation I plan, plan and plan and then when its almost time to leave I start to have nightmares. The one I almost always have is that someone calls me the morning we are suppose to leave and I haven't gotten anything ready!! In a panic I am trying to find things to pack, find the kids etc. Its crazy because I always pack at least a week early

We are going 5/23 to 6/2. Every night before bed my DD8 wants to go down her list of favorite ride etc. I guess its fresh on her mind when she falls asleep. Last night she woke up screaming (scared me to death). I ran into her room and she was sobbing. She said she had a dream that the night before our plane was to take her to Disney that she was doing the splits and broke both of her legs. It took about 20 min for me to calm her down. I assured her that if that in fact happened I would put her in a wheel chair and she would still get to go. Bless her heart.
Ive had several dreams or should I say nightmares. Last week I dreamed it was the last day of our 10 day vacation and I hadnt made it to ANY of the parks. I was sooooo relieved to wake up and realize it was just a dream.
