Just watched Mando

Love Ming Na Wen from agents of shield. I thought her acting was smooth. Didn’t notice otherwise.

Liked the flip off the rock. But a lot of the storm trooper combat scene was comical. I thought “Is this a nod to how they can’t shoot anything?” And they kept coming out of the ships like it was a clown car. The bodies kept falling, and it seemed like there were more standing than should be.

Did Fennac need to run across the cliff? It seemed like she ended back where she started with no improvement to her situation. The rolling rock was ridiculous. Lol. Step aside.

Mando and the force shield = definition of insanity.

I figured he was looking for the ball in the wreckage. Forgot about the spear already. Thought, “good thing Fett got his armor first”. His fight was exciting and brutal. “This is why he’s got his bada** reputation”

Glad they joined the team, as well.

Grogu battering the stormtroopers was fun. It was like he was having a tantrum.

:D How was it?

It was ok. I'm not a huge fan of the actress that plays the fairy godmother which is part of it. For me I find her comedic acting too slap stick and over the top. Didn't like her in 22 jump street but really enjoyed her in Brittany runs a marathon but it was a bit of a different role. Fun story and after the first 15 to 20 min it was better for me.

Isla Fisher's accent was all over the place which was odd from other stuff I've seen her in and also distracting.

It's worth a watch but is def a d+ movie like Noelle was last year. Better than Disney channel but not as good as theatre. About equal to one of hallmark channels good christmas movies. So good story with a message but tied up a little too quick and easily at the end.

Thank you!

I have no idea what to watch tonight and I'm getting desperate....

That actress, I forget her name, I know it’s Jillian something, but she’s cut from the same mold as so many other “comedic” actors of the 2010s where to me it comes off as annoying rather than funny. But I will say that her schtick and her acting in Brittany Runs a Marathon shows she does have acting chops.

If you haven’t seen The Christmas Chronicles (1 or 2), they’re actually really endearing movies. Definitely some cheese to the movies, but they’re fun Christmas movies

Yes! Which was why I was disappointed in using her in the same comedic way. I didn't really enjoy noelle because I felt they made her too ditzy and the way anna kendrick played her drove me nuts and I normally love her. I would've liked to have seen her in the godmother role but knowing how they did noelle they probably would have done the same. I think some is the actor and some is how the director wants it played.

ok, just finished Mando - I will go back and watch all the spoiler tags, but just want to say that if I was a little underwhelmed with last week's (compared to many others) I am probably going to overrate this episode - it was like everything I love about this series up to 11

That may have been the shortest episode but it certainly packed a punch.

Can’t wait for all the dark trooper toys.

I loved the moment of Boba wearing the armor again. Definitely excited to see more of

I didn’t expect Mayfield to return, he wasn’t my favorite so I can take or leave that.

The whole time Grogu was on the stone I wanted to know what he was seeing. Just a peak. I want to know more about the child and his past. Him being familiar with the dark saber is really intriguing.

I already know this is going to suck to wait basically a year for the next season.

do you think he was specifically knowledgable of the dark saber or just lightsabers in general. That is how I took it that he knows what a lightsaber was and his "urges" were to get to the weapon

Well Gideon does say “Do you remember this?” Seemingly in reference to the dark saber. He could just mean a saber in general though

Just watched it again, he doesn’t ask him if he remembers the saber, asks him if he’s ever seen one

Just finished Godmothered and we loved it. Thought it was cute and funny - easy watching! We are currently watching Mulan right now. There are some decent moments so far. It isn't living up to what I was hoping it would be, but I'm trying to keep an open mind.

I really enjoyed Mulan 🤷‍♂️

I don't care if we are supposed to play it cool, I howled when Fett appeared in his armor... howled! It was a great episode, ranked at least in the second spot for me. The other thing that stood out the most to me was that the kid has seemingly matured over night; his movements and interactions are much more smooth and mature in this one as opposed to almost all the rest, IMO. So, yeah, they took the kid, but not before he sent out his message, so I'm assuming we are in for another force user appearance "soon" (soon in the storyline, that is).

Oh, and I agree, I think he was exposed to lightsabers in general before, not the darksaber specifically.
