I hope he survives. :rolleyes1

THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT's Temuera Morrison Will Reportedly Shoot OBI-WAN KENOBI Before THE MANDALORIAN Return

Interesting that the article states that he will be reprising his role as Commander Cody. I know the animation would have been based on his look but all of the clones were voiced by Dee Bradley Baker in Clone Wars. Did he actually ever play Commander Cody?

As for whether or not he survives, the nice thing about being the model for all clones is that he has some job security. There's always another clone to play!

Now I need to check the Clone Wars/Rebels/ObiWan timelines to see if that gives a hint.

He played/voiced Cody in Revenge of the Sith. He provided the voice for all clones in the films.

He played every clone in AOTC & ROTS if we saw their face and provided the voice even if we didn't, so he was certainly at least the voice of Cody in Revenge of the Sith. I can't recall if we did see Cody's face, but he'd look the same as all the others.

I completely forgot about the films. I rely so much on Clone Wars for the prequels time period. Looks like ObiWan takes place in between Clone Wars and Rebels. And After RoTS as well of course.

It’s set 8 years after RotS and 11 years before ANH.

I saw this as a rough timeline of where it fits:
Obi Wan Series Timeline by Year

19 BBY - Revenge of the Sith

13-10 BBY - Solo: A Star Wars Story

9 BBY - Obi Wan Series

5-1 BBY - Star Wars Rebels

0 BBY - Rogue One

0 BBY - A New Hope

Starting next week The MCU will have 15 weeks straight of content, 16 out of the next 18 weeks, and 23 of the next 27 weeks. So for the next half-year there will be no more than 4 total weeks without a show or movie in the MCU. And that doesn’t include if What If? releases right after Shang-Chi

Hopefully these shows are on par quality wise with the rest of the MCU. This content rollout should be a great path for them to grow Disney+.

I have no clue about Wandavision. Is that something a 10yo could watch? Does he have to have seen most of the Avengers/MCU movies to enjoy it? He's only seen Spiderman Homecoming, Thor Ragnarock, and maybe one or two others. No Avengers. Not even Black Panther.

hmm, probably not, it seems it's going to be kind of confusing and strange

I mean it won't like inappropriate or anything, but just don't see it interesting him

My 10 year old is really excited to see it, but he’s seen all the MCU movies. I think without at least the ones that Wanda and Vision are in it would be confusing.

Sorry I just thought the title was kinda funny that he was going to "Shoot" Obi-Wan. Never mind. :duck:

I think Wandavision will be wonky enough for kids to enjoy while also diving into some deep stuff for adults. Anything that’s going to be confusing and “what just happened” will be part of the charm of the series. It’s not supposed to be your ordinary MCU cookie cutter content. The multiverse stuff is very tough to follow on your own, even for comic readers. I’m sure there will be many times that I’ll have to look things up during this series.

Have we seen any word on whether Wandavision is a half hour or hour long show? I know streaming it doesn’t really make a difference as there are no commercials but Mando would be considered an hour long if it was on TV. I guess I just picture Wandavision as a half hour sitcom type of show. That could play into running 2 episodes first week if they’re both about 20-23 minutes.

I think it's hour long, but I'm not sure. I only remember reading that She Hulk will be half hour episodes.

It certainly could be half hour episodes, or over 30, but under 40. But typically shows that have action and intricate storytelling are an hour. WandaVision would likely fall under than banner. I don’t think the sitcom aspect is going to be as large of a part of the show as it looks from previews and one sheets. I’m hoping it’s the same as Mando where there’s some 30 min episodes, some 40, and a couple 50+. But given that it’s 9 episodes, I think most will be closer to the 30-40 range

OK, I have seen more MCU movies than him, but I have not seen any with Wanda or Vision, so I guess we're in the same boat! o_O Um, which movies were they in?
