Some details on animal kingdoms new rivers of light nighttime spectacular. Sources predict Disney is planning for a march 2016 opening on this new show. This is just under 1 year to the opening of avatar at AK. This gives disney two years to ready the area and lake in front of expedition Everest. Dates are expected to change especially if there are delays but this suggests they are aiming for march 2016.

Yea I have heard work on the Tree of Life starts in mid 2015. That would give them plenty of time to work on the tree and get seating ready. You know there is a lot of grass areas in front of Everest and I wonder if this will all be removed for seating...probably. Then they will probably reclaim so of the river itself to make seating.

It makes sense they said it would be before avatar but not for a while yet.

The reason for the appeal in the first place was alot because of its scarceity...

Well it has been at the poly and MK in adventure land. Right now because of the construction at the poly it is only at the MK and now AK. If they keep it at just these three I can see it doing just fine but if they continue to put it in more places then you are right.

The Great ceremonial house water feature is now completely walled off and is set for demolition. The new lobby does not have an official open date but it will be completed withy the rest of the work in 2015.

Also at DTD the new world soccer store has opened on west side. This store features all sorts of soccer things for the upcoming World Cup.

The Disneyland 60th anniversary will be labeled as the Disneyland Diamond anniversary celebration.
One of the big things that is rumored to be coming is a 60 hour long Disneyland party celebrating the park where it's open for 60 hours straight.

They have added three grevy zebras to the pangani forest exploration trail. 2 females and 1 male this is the largest species of zebras. They are behind the meerkat area on the savannah.

It seems more and more convincing that the following is happening for Disneyland's 60th.

New nighttime parade

New fireworks show

Updates and big refurbs to all fantasyland dark rides (this is already underway)

And special little events throughout the year looking at the history of Disneyland.

It also seems that Star Wars for tomorrowland is back on the table with a tomorrowland redo.
It's also said that DHS will be getting Star Wars too in the not too distant future... It is said that disney will take their time tho which of course we are all used too.

I also have convincing rumors that DCL will be expanding soon and those ships will be in between the two classes of ships there are now.

Also MK's version of the little mermaid will be getting the same refurb that DCA got this last month. I don't know exactly when.
