I’d go to Old Key West or Saratoga Springs… the OG DVC resorts.

Everywhere I have went all has the same stuff, the only difference is the resort specific merch.

Certainly OKW but I feel the Screendoor General Store at BWV (second DVC location at world) has more merch than SSR.

Can you check out the merchandise without having a DVC reservation? I could not get a reservation during spring break, so I am staying off property.

Sure, anyone is welcome to visit shops and restaurants at DVC resorts. At some resorts you may have trouble driving in without a reservation, but arriving by Disney bus or boat (or on foot, for some) is no problem.
