Some unfortunate and tragic news that is being reported from the contemporary resort. Someone has jumped from the hotel and committed suicide reports are this is true and they could not run the monorails until it was all cleaned up. No other details are out at this time.

Cannot confirm this either but report said a suicide note was found but not a hotel guest.

A very good friend of mine is in BLT this week. He sent me a text this morning saying someone jumped, and a photo of the area, ( the service entrance next to BLT) but just as they were wrapping up the clean up. Monorail was just starting up again. Apparently true.

Yeah the picture I have seems to have the "tented " area and looks like a sheet or something hung to cover view, close to the building in the service area. There are several service trucks lined up to also block view. I can't figure out how to post it.

Disney has released all of the 25th anniversary merchandise for Disneys Hollywood Studios. The 25th anniversary is May 25th. No special events have been announced.

Due to increased interest in DVC at the Poly it looks like they will be converting Tokelau in to more DVC rooms. When this is said and down including bungalows there will be over 350 DVC rooms at the Poly.

Also it looks like Dole Whips at the Poly will not be self serve any more because of abuse of the system. When captain cooks reopens the server will make the Dole Whip for you.

Update on the west side Starbucks set to open later this year. They are still working on the exterior but have also started work on the interior.

Disneyland Paris announced today that their new ratatouille ride will open July 10th. This ride will also have a corresponding restaurant.

Progress on the new theater is coming along and looks to open in June.

The moat around the castle has been refilled for the Easter season as well as the media event for the Mine Train. Large plastic dividers have been placed in the moat to keep water out of the areas in front of Casey's and the plaza restaurant. Also the Swan Boat loading dock is now gone and mulch has been placed there for now.

This is still a rumor at this point, but I am going to post it anyway. The World of Disney store is going to be closing at the end of the year for an interior overhaul as well as an expansion. The expansion will go out into the parking lot where the second garage is going to be built. No confirmation on this just yet.

Ok so I have quite a few rumors to post so I am going to do it in one post.

1. The Little Mermaid attraction is rumored to go down in off season of 2015 for some work. Disney is looking to make the same changes they are going to make to the one in DCA. The source is WDW1974 at WDWMagic also known as the spirit.

2. Big Thunder Mountain is also said to go down in 2015 to receive the upgrades that the one in Disneyland got. Source once again the spirit.

3. A new DVC is being planned to be built right outside Epcot. It will have a special entrance into the park. Source the spirit.

4. In 2015 Sorian is planned to go down for a new film as well as a new theater. Source is the spirit.

Soarin was a given because DCA is getting upgrades so WDW would be next. Epcot DVC has been a rumor for a while but it has been gaining speed as of late.
