Am I at the only one who decided to come on 1st to be a part of the first group of people to see Disney Enchantment? I feel like with this and some of the other 9/30 additions for MK that they've slightly undercut those who made the decision to show up on October 1st, and basically moved the opening day to the 30th. I could be off on this, but why do they need to do this the day before? If it's an attempt at a commercial of some kind... why not wait a day or two?

We just received the below email from WDW about our upcoming trip. It looks like they are starting the early entry on 9/26/21!

Soon, Guests who stay in the magic at a Disney Resort hotel can enjoy 30 minutes early entry to any Walt Disney World® Theme Park every day as part of the dazzling Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration.

We’re excited to share that we will be offering a soft opening of this new benefit during your stay. Beginning September 26th, you will have the opportunity to enjoy 30 minutes early entry to any Walt Disney World Theme Park. That’s more time for enchantment at Magic Kingdom® Park. More excitement at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. More adventure at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. More possibilities at EPCOT®. It’s a great way to jump-start your Disney day, no matter the day!

Once you’ve arrived at the main entrance of your desired theme park, be sure to look for the “Early Entry for Participating Hotels” signage to enter the park.

A Park reservation and valid ticket or pass for the same Park on the same date and valid Resort ID are required."

Last performance of HEA is on the 29th at 8:15pm.

It is live, but also being streamed. I'm thinking it was a way to maybe pull some people away from MK that night.

Yes it’s a live showing of it. MK is closing at 8pm that night. Event is likely for anyone that gets an invite from Disney. Media, CMs whoever gets to be included that night.

First general public live viewing is still 10/1.

Could be for CMs. They will both be streamed live, but only Enchantment is well after park closing.

Media event and the posting of the video, along with resort visibility. It’s less specifically about this, but a culmination of things.

A lot of stuff originally planned to new for the October 1st had been moved to September or way later in the year, and it kind of feels like outside of sentimentalism of being there on THE day it’s been devalued… all while hiking up prices of being there.

I’m not like, really pissed or anything… just miffed about it.

a few I can think of off the top of my head are the food and wine booths set to premiere 10/1, early entry set to start 10/1, and now both fireworks shows can be seen by everyone online and guests in Epcot in September get to see Harmonious in person the live stream night. I guess the only thing “sacred” now is the deluxe evening hours.

I'm not so much irritated with that stuff but rather that it's looking less and less likely that G+ will be implemented when crowds are supposed to be crazy. What are they waiting for?

MK is listed as a 10 for the day on Touring Plans, I’m blown.
