Ive only been going regularly for 5 years now, and not only have park tickets nearly doubled in cost a but I swear that food as well as resorts have gone up well over 50%.
I’ve noticed the same.

Wasn’t that long ago when Dessert Parties were under $50 and most of us thought the cost was absolutely something we could do without. We didn’t realize how good we had it back in 2015 🤣

First thing that went through my mind was we are bringing DS (16) and his friend (16) and along with my other DS (12) they will typically be given a little roaming time on their own with a meet up spot knowing they are a cell phone call away, tracked thru life 360 etc. We give them charging privileges for a drink, snack, etc - and and abuse or two means now I pay for something stupid, but ok 10 bucks, 20 bucks maybe. It's asking a lot of kids to come off a RNRR, get an app message to "skip the line for $$". I can see the convo going like this...

Me - "Hey kids so did you have fun on your alone time"
Them - yeah - it was great, we rode RNRR like 8 times in a row.
Me - "oh sounds great - wow I guess the lines were really short you are really lucky"
Them "no the lines were really long but we got to skip the line"....
$240 later....

Scary!!!

We gave our DDs freedom on a cruise ship, when they were 11 or 12. I still remember the call from the office. They had racked up $200 in the arcade, before we even left port. So, yeah. I can see that as an issue.

oh my god lol I am sorry for laughing but the "before we left port" god me good. I am only a few years from this phase so I am gritting my teeth now!

Yeah the Skyliner line can get really long right after the show. Probably best to either be really close to IG exit and leave ASAP, or plan on doing something else for 30 mins before getting on the line. I’d rather swing on a Beach Club hammock than get in back of that first long line.
That would be fine with me, but DS 3 will be ready for go! Actually ended up switching to beach club just now.

I wonder why not happily ever after? My sister is at MK today hoping to see HEA.

May be a safety concern with the weather and some of the pyrotechnics and any proximity to guests, or the later timing of the show. HEA may be able to have a later cut off than EF.
