I wouldn't say that Single Rider qualifies as Big News...and I will leave it at that, it seems that the notion of big news not coming at a specific time has turned some off, for that I apologize.

So I don’t think it’s so much giving a specific time, it was the hyping as if there was some insider information that something big was imminent.

All of the cryptic posts and hyping from yesterday got a lot of folks amped up, it’s one thing to be hopeful for news and having fun with requests, vs posting as if there’s knowledge that something big is coming. I get the excitement and enthusiasm but how it’s delivered also has to be considered!

It's funny how the board itself can perpetuate something that was never really said...what qualifies as Big News is totally each persons perception of that news. Everyone here knows that Big News is coming, Disney has to get the ball rolling on things like restaurants, Typhoon Lagoon, and a FP option - and all of that may or may not be Big News to some. Take the speculation and fun out of hoping for Big News and this becomes the same boring thread it was before...(now stepping down from the podium)

On my Disney wish list I am hoping for extended hours (going first week in August), Trader Sam's opening, and Disney Junior Dance Party (probably not likely). This will only be my 3rd time going and I will have 3 elementary aged children, 1 special needs.

I don't think its something that needs to formally be announced. At least 2 of them were open yesterday with guests reporting jt, so its not really news today.

Friday is often good for news drops. It always holds potential. Hard to squash my wishing or excitement. If news don’t come today there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow and next week…

Anyway looking at the most recent posted Park Hours thru to Sept 4th, I was wondering how HEA fireworks schedule will work with BOO Bash DAH. Looking at sunset times they could be held before the party and not eat into a portion of the 3hr DAH event. Figured I’d share since sunset helps planning whether doing the party or not for all the folks going late summer.

I am at Disneyland Paris (yay!) and I noticed a change at Small World, I wonder if this change has made it to the US as well. Along the line of update the redhead in Pirates.

There is a doll in the Asian section on a bed, looking at the boats. A guy fanning her. She used to wink at the guests. Her eyes/head has been replaced and she can no longer wink. She cant even blink anymore. Was that doll really so seductive that she was sending the wrong message?

Didnt want to open a new topic, but I am curious. Did she wink in the US?

So… Today is Friday! Which means a whole new new cycle starts again in just a couple of days! Hopefully by Monday, with all signs pointing to great news coming, we’ll have lots more to be excited about!!!! You know I will bring you guys something as soon as I see it posted! This is an amazing thread and I’m looking forward to celebrating all the good news to come!!! As always… WE GOT THIS GUYS!!!!!
