I love the single rider line at Everest. I rode it a bunch of times in a row that way one time. It was practically walk on.

I don’t quite get the feeling from this that FP is gone, or VQ is the future. Unfortunately on this topic they only really have a quote from Lou Mongello, and he doesn’t work for Disney

"Disney has adjusted and evolved both the virtual queue and Disney Park Pass since their launch and says it will continue to do so. And it’s all-in on the park reservation system, at least, for the foreseeable future.

The Fantasyland addition is described as an "immersive fragrance experience" with details to be released at a later date.

I think VQ may be the way they’re going with new rides. Tron, remi, guardians, etc. And keeping FP for the rest.

This would make sense.

Because I can’t imagine having VQ for every ride and getting up at 7 every morning to join boarding groups for the rides I want. I’m sure it wouldn’t work that wau, but I just can’t envision VQ working with ALL rides beyond just the newest headliner attractions. Otherwise, it just becomes a worse version of fastpass then.

I just picked my daughter up from majorette/band front practice, and today is the day they learned the theme for this year’s half time show...the theme is Disney!!

If that’s not a sign that big news is coming, I don’t know what is

I saw that posted yesterday from a site that can’t be linked here. So I’m not sure if that’s today’s big news since it was out yesterday.

Personally, the Star Wars show at Hollywood Studios is my fav. The projections and the music, along with the pyro...come on - even if you don't want to, you are humming the theme songs and quoting jedi lines!

I love it, but since I'm often traveling in early December all I get is the Jingle Hell show at HS instead.
