Oh me too. That does not look like fun. I will be skipping this ride for a while. I've ridden it once. It was fun, but nothing is that fun where I would want to be stuck in that crowd for hours. I also won't pay to ride either. I will just find other things to do until ride times come down... years from now.
Interesting that MDE wait times are now down to 75 mins. I think you may be right.I wonder if that pic (DH pulled from Twitter this morning) was morning "rush hour"? Some are reporting its a walk-on and some said in and done in 30 min.
I have clients in the park now. The line was crazy at RD, which is to be expected. But then almost immediately, waits were drastically inflated by MDE. Although MDE at one point claimed a wait of over 3.5 hours, that was never true. MDE is now much more in line with the actual wait, and TP has it at 64 minutes which my client says is pretty accurate. With BG's not filling up/being available until late in the day recently, this all makes sense. The actual situation on the ground is much less chaotic than it seems.
Did you however speed walk to the front of the line after rope drop?I was in the parking lot by 8:00 and off ROTR by 9:00.
ok, so maybe I missed it, but when did park hopping change to 1pm from 2pm?
I see that Remi now is listed under the VQ section on MDE and it states that as of Oct 1st, Remi will be virtual and that you can enter Epcot after 1pm...
How did i miss that???

ok - phew...I was thinking "how did they change the time to park hop and I missed that"??I think it means you can join the afternoon virtual queue at 1pm after tapping into Epcot. Not that you can park hop at 1pm.
