Didn't they briefly experiment with digitally adding masks to those without? I don't think it lasted long.This has been the policy since reopening.

Yea because they were afraid it would become a “thing” where people wanted to have the digital mask put on their face. People are so weird, but I believe it.Lasted less than a week IIRC
It honestly felt like a weird place to spend resources on developing anyway.Yea because they were afraid it would become a “thing” where people wanted to have the digital mask put on their face. People are so weird, but I believe it.
That's an interesting point, I'd never heard that part of it and never would have thought of that. But it makes senseYea because they were afraid it would become a “thing” where people wanted to have the digital mask put on their face. People are so weird, but I believe it.
It's really too bad Disney never went any further in developing the idea of putting a Mickey head or a circle - or something - over the faces not wearing a mask. Or simply delete the pics from that party/person's account rather than everyone else's too.
Probably a logistical pain though. But if they take the time to sort through pics, why not one step further? WDW charges for the ability to get the photos but in this case doesn't deliver. (especially feel bad for people where it might have been their only chance to ride on a trip).
::: end rant
we were at BCV in May & got stuck without milk for the baby. We had to order from room service & not only did we have to wait about an hour, but it cost something like $20 for 2 tiny child size cartonsThanks! To my knowledge, Grand Floridian and Yacht Club were the only two resorts that offered it since re-opening. Curious if GF will also eliminate it!!! I hope you’re having a great time!!!![]()
Yeah the news comes in waves. A few weeks ago I thought everything would be open by my June 26 trip, now I'm just hoping we maybe get fireworks or another restaurant or two.The word "soon" is wearing thin.
Word of the week: "Now!" I leave in 12 days.

I don’t think they have & it’s really annoying me. I’m glad I am no longer there b/c on our last day, it was really annoying to me to deal with the masks when I knew wdw was the only place left doing it. I’m seriously going to consider cancelling July if it’s not gone by then. I work in a school district & they even lifted it for us here for schools now. So I’m so done with it now.
I have a child under 12 too who has been to wdw several times during the last year including this past week. I am comfortable with the cdc guidelines & understand that Covid presents a minimal risk to him. And having him continue to wear a mask is ridiculous so, I too hope Disney remembers they were built on entertaining small children as his trips were much more enjoyable before he was forced to wear a mask in the 90 plus heat. Schools here have stopped requiring a masks as of last week. Not sure the situation in your state, but here kids will be around unmasked, unvaccinated ppl.Well for every person with your view there is someone with the opposite. I’m hoping they don’t change the current mask policy before my August trip. I have 3 children under 12 who cannot be vaccinated and I do not really want them to be indoors with the unmasked and unvaccinated. I will seriously consider canceling our trip if they drop the indoor mask mandate. I’m hoping Disney remembers that their entire company is built on entertaining small children.
YesI think we are gonna need a mid-week dance.
