I must say, I’m disappointed that the ribs, shrimp, and salmon are add-ons at Trail’s End. And no fried chicken! I’m not sure if we’ll book an ADR here. ☹

I'm not really a buffet person, but I loved Trail's End. It might not have been fancy, but the staff was always great and they did put together some solid comfort food. I loved the baked potato bar that I loaded up with pulled pork and mac & cheese. I wasn't expecting the buffet to return, but disappointed would be an understatement with the announced menu. I guess it just means a few more trips to Geyser Point for me this November ...

What’s the upgrade from a Bungalow?

Does anyone know what dates are impacted? We are reserved in a Poly Bungalow in late August, but have not been notified of any issues / changes to our reservation. In my opinion, there is no “upgrade” from a Bungalow anywhere on the Poly property. I’m laying out some serious DVC points for this room (mostly because I have a backlog of points to use thanks to COVID), with this story along with the monorail not working and some lingering construction, I am starting to second guess my decision. There are not many DVC rooms that compare to the bungalow from a DVC points per night perspective so I’m holding out hope that not all bungalows will be unavailable at once.

They don’t have the Lighthouse sandwich, and that’s the only thing I ate at CHH. It’s my favorite light QS meal.

I’m so happy about Casey’s I could cry. I hope they bring the dogs of the month back sooner rather than later, they were so much fun. I loved the loaded mashed potato one!

It’s just a soft goods refresh. The rooms shouldn’t be out of service for too long, The bungalows are almost never fully booked anyways.

We watched it on YouTube and it was amazing. The live stream was from a CM in the park - Cm’s singing, crying and so happy to just be there made it one of the best I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to catch the opening night and so glad we’ve got a trip planned to see them ourselves. I’ve been avoiding watching any streams because I found it too depressing not knowing when we would return, but now I can!

I hope a FP announcement is imminent with them releasing these discounts and attracting more and more ppl to the parks. It’s getting more than slightly annoying at this point
