I was thinking longer than that but am mistaken. I kind of remember that the overlap period was somewhat short.

Just since Covid. They used to always start refurbs/closing 1 at a time after the summer season and then have them both open for summer...until Covid.

It just seems if they ever should be open at the same time, it would be during this free pass on checkin day.

Since they're not, folks just need to plan accordingly IMO.

We didn't expect a lot since it was complimentary, so no bigs.

100% aware the reason is money but um............why? Coco ended perfectly. It doesn't need a continuation.

I agree. I mean, sure, it may not be necessary, but as long as they do it right, I am not against it in principle. We'll just have to see.

Oh wow. I agree with Smugpugmug that the original wrapped everything up beautifully, but I'm curious what direction they'll go in with this. IMHO Coco had the best writing of any Pixar film, so I'd gladly watch another one of the same quality.

There's a great FL State Park & Zoo @ Homosassa Springs that we were able to visit last year. They have a manatee rehab facility there. Definitely worth the visit, as it is one of the few "Old Florida" places left in the state.

BREAKING NEWS! The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is considering financially supporting a train rail corridor between Orlando International Airport and Disney Springs.
The CFTOD is the governing body that oversees the land of Walt Disney World Resort. They are considering a support payment of $500,000 to help focus on bringing a rail line to Disney Springs.
If approved and found worthy in the study, the Sunshine Corridor could be built. The proposed line would bring guests from MCO toward Epic Universe, SeaWorld, and Disney Springs.

I mean, MEARS is perfectly fine for airport transportation (and no need to transfer at Disney Springs). But, I think America needs a lot more trains in general, so glad to hear this.
