There are even more posters for MMRR at DL - someone will post them, I'm sure. the theming here for the El Capitoon Theater looks GREAT! It's a real home-run for Imagineering. This may be the definitive version of the ride. Enjoy it, Disneylanders!

So I think I might have news to share— Festival of The Lion King is back to its full, pre pandemic form. Calling up the people on stage to make the animal sounds, parade of kids at the end full. I’m a 2-3 performances per trip, recognize all the performers kind of fan, so I was super surprised!

New Family-Friendly Entertainment at Disney Springs Kids Club

Saturday mornings at Disney Springs are about to get a whole lot more fun! Our entertainment team has been hard at work curating a lineup of high-energy, engaging performers to get the whole family up on their feet, moving and grooving. Disney Springs Kids Club kicks off this Saturday, January 28, and is a brand-new entertainment offering designed for the whole family to enjoy together. It will take place at Waterview Park every Saturday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.

These unique, family-friendly acts will vary each week, and new entertainment will frequently be added to the lineup. To kick things off, you may recognize Wassalou, the Afropop band from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park! They’re taking their show on the road to our side of town, bringing trademark energy and style to Disney Springs Kids Club. Pick up bongos, maracas and more, while you play and dance along in the drum circle. Or, boogie down with Flight Crew Jump Rope at a high-energy dance party featuring dazzling jump-rope routines and thrilling acrobatics. The best part? The crew will have you jumping along like a pro in no time. Rounding out the current Disney Springs Kids Club lineup, DJ KD Queen will bring her signature flair to the stage, hosting games, singalongs and more.

SoCal “Imagine” Disneyland Magic Key Now Sold Out
After more than a week of open sales, the Imagine Magic Key pass is now sold out (for the moment). Disneyland has said that they’re committed to making Magic Key annual passes available more frequently throughout the year this year, but it looks like they will still have limited periods of on-sale availability. The Imagine Key is the Disneyland annual pass for Southern California residents only and costs $449/year for limited Disneyland access.

As of publish time, here are the latest statuses for the Disneyland Magic Key sales:

• “Inspire” tier ($1,599): On Sale
• “Believe” tier ($1,099): On Sale
• “Enchant” tier ($699): Renewal Only
• “Imagine” tier ($449): Renewal Only

D23 will host a Mickey's of Glendale pop-up shop at Disney's Contemporary Resort in February 2023, exclusively for D23 Gold Members.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow, January 27, 2023, at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EST).
Here are the full details:

D23 Gold Members are invited to an exciting day of winter shopping on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Mickey's of Glendale pop-up shop in the Grand Republic Ballroom at Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.* Mickey's of Glendale, the Walt Disney Imagineering campus' official store, is home to Imagineering-exclusive items.
*A ticket is required in order to participate in this complimentary experience. We kindly ask that you only reserve tickets if you plan to attend. Failure to attend may affect your opportunity to access such experiences in the future.
D23 Gold Members can sign up for a single 30-minute shopping window. Exclusive Walt Disney Imagineering limited-edition products will be available while supplies last.
Guests will not be admitted to the Mickey's of Glendale pop-up shop outside of their confirmed window or allowed to queue any earlier than 45 minutes before their scheduled time.
