Nighttime Entertainment Added to ‘Disney After Hours’ Event at Hollywood Studios

Ahead of the return of Disney After Hours to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that showtimes have been posted for Disney Movie Magic and The Wonderful World of Disney Animation projection shows during the event.

The two shows will play during normal park hours at 8:40pm and 9pm for regular day guests, but then they are scheduled to play again during the Disney After Hours event at the following times:

• Disney Movie Magic: 8:40pm, 11:25pm*
• Wonderful World of Animation: 9pm, 11:45pm*

Disney World Hits Capacity for Holiday Season

There are no more Disney Park Pass reservations for any ticket type over the next few days, and very limited Annual Pass reservations for December 29-31, according to Disney. There are no more theme park reservations for regular ticket holders and Disney World resort guests. Here’s a look at the availability calendar.

Because it would be so disappointing for the family from Cluelessville, USA to just show up and be turned away. Never mind the impact the other 360 days a year and to the MILLIONS of non/semi clueless visitors. <sarcasm font "off">

Trail’s End Restaurant at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Closed Two Days a Week

The casual dining restaurant, located next to Pioneer Hall and across from the Settlement Trading Post, will now serve breakfast and dinner from Thursday through Monday only. Trail’s End Restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — at least for the next two months.

Hollywood Studios Adds More Performances of Fantasmic Though Mid-January 2023

Disney World has added a second performance of Fantasmic for dates through January 14, 2023. Two performances of Fantasmic were previously scheduled through January 7, 2023.

Here’s the current schedule:

• December 27 – January 14: 8pm, 9:30pm
• January 15 on: 8pm

Let's hope the nearby Hollywood Tower of Terror increases its capacity to full mode by then. When I visited in April and December 2022, HTT operated at half capacity.

This action-packed day on select itineraries out of Miami will feature the largest assembly of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains at sea, and all-day entertainment including brand new heroic encounters with the debut of Captain America Sam Wilson, Mighty Thor and much more. Plus, get ready for an epic selection of sweets and treats available exclusively during Marvel Day at Sea.

Now, I like to think these sweets are what really unlock my superpowers, or maybe I just like sweets in general. Either way, during Marvel Day at Sea, you’ll most likely find me over at Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats enjoying one of these delicious cupcakes. It might be a bit hard choosing between the Iron Man Cupcake made with vanilla sponge cake and vanilla frosting or the Spider-Man Cupcake made with chocolate devil cake and white chocolate mousse. Are you team Iron Man or team Spider- Man?

The fan-favorite rollercoaster will close on February 20 2023, with a reopening in the summer of 2023.

I am really, really glad we have a longer trip in May/June and can do the Studios on multiple days, even with G+ this is going to make touring there a lot more difficult. Hopefully they bring the fireworks back too to help eat some of those crowds.

Honestly the whole park was that way when we were there in early December. Every single ride was down at some point that day. Most multiple times with Tower never coming back up at all.
