One way they could do this is to scan your driver’s license, AP or DVC number to limit 2 items per person/discount.
it is possible to limit purchases.

I can’t think of a time where something I really wanted was sold out but I know that for some people that can’t get to the parks, resale may be the only way they can get a particular item.

It would be difficult to police online sellers.

I think a lifetime ban is a bit harsh.
This is HUGELY a problem with party specific - and even holiday - items.

PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS IN FLORIDA
For the most part I agree, people who buy and sell on eBay drive me nuts! But I have used personal shoppers. I want a specific item I saw they pick it up for a fee and send to you.

Mine was for my child for Christmas she had a full on meltdown over a toy I wouldn’t buy and asked the cashier to tell Santa she wanted it. I paid a local to buy it for me and send to me.

But maybe that’s wrong too…

Haunted Mansion Holiday Extended By 3 Weeks at Disneyland

According to the Disneyland website, Haunted Mansion Holiday will now run through January 29, 2023, which is three weeks longer than originally announced. The Disneyland website now notes that Haunted Mansion will be closed starting January 30, 2023 as it undergoes a transformation back to “normal” Haunted Mansion:

Haunted Mansion Holiday will be closed for refurbishment beginning January 30, 2023 and will reopen as Haunted Mansion. Please check back for updates.

I'm one to get sick almost everytime I go to Disney for a week or more. I feel for you! Was just there last week and noticed so many adults and children coughing without even trying to muffle those coughs in their sleeves. So disgusting! I'm pretty sure the only reason I didn't get sick this trip is I wore a mask when inside and when in crowded areas outside. Believe me I disliked having to wear one. Such a pain, but I'm sick and tired of getting sick the last few days of my trips. I'm spending way too much money to be sick in my room, so I'm stuck with masking unfortunately. Hate it!!

I also masked inside pretty much everywhere unless I was eating, sadly it still didn't keep me from getting sick! Grateful it was just a nasty cold and not something worse.

We just got back as well, and everyone but me got sick. My mom wore a mask religiously and no one else did, and she got sick along with everyone else but me. And I agree that there was a lot of coughing and sneezing, but there were multiple people on our plane that were clearly sick, so it's not just people at WDW.

Two of the worst places for encountering sick people on our trip were actually in Church and on the airplane. Lots of coughing and sneezing with little attempt to cover up. Grateful (and actually very surprised) we didn't sick.

That’s too bad, family style is better than buffet in my opinion. Buffets are kinda gross.
