Construction Underway in Guest Areas at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort​

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been humming with construction recently, with new work underway in two guest areas.

Over by the tiki statue across from the Fiji building, a small section is now fenced off. The work seems to be focused on a pipe just behind the statue.

Over by the beach near the bungalows, a section is walled off as new pipe is being laid.

An excavator is on site to dig out sand. It’s possible that this could be connected to the DVC construction, but it doesn’t appear likely.

Wishing Star Park, Blue Sky Boulevard, & World of Disney Store Reopening June 10 at Shanghai Disney Resort​

Shanghai Disney Resort appears poised to emerge from its second extended closure as parts of the resort will reopen to visiting guests on June 10. Starting Friday, guests may visit Wishing Star Park, Blue Sky Boulevard, and the World of Disney Store within Disneytown.

Disneyland Resort Hosting Paid Focus Groups for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Immersive Hotel​

Some guests who previously stayed at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and completed a survey are receiving invitations to a paid focus group about the hotel for Disneyland Resort.

The email is titled “Invitation to participate in research for Disneyland Resort.” Invited guests will need to complete a 5-minute survey by email before being selected to participate in the focus group. The 5-minute survey was only about Walt Disney World, although the email title referenced Disneyland Resort.

Previously, we reported that Disney had sent out emails to guests who had previously journeyed aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser regarding a paid focus group. In it, the email header had referenced the Disneyland Resort despite the hotel being at Walt Disney World. Now, Disney has clarified the survey’s target in an updated email.

omg yay!!!! I know Tomorrowland is kitchy and gets a lot of hate but every trip we find ourselves spending a ridiculous amount of time there. We love the atmosphere, most of the rides, but mainly the pictures and the music. And Joffrey's Revive is our fave Joffrey's! I can't wait for this to open.
