DVC News:

Scenic Selfies Game Updated For 50th Anniversary

For 2022, the reward buttons feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Members who collect all 4 of the character buttons will also receive a 5th collectible featuring Cinderella Castle and the 50th Anniversary logo.

This seems super fun for my kids (I have been missing having things like the Agent P activity). Am I correct in assuming we could do the activity but not collect the buttons if we're not DVC?

I’m curious too. We’re considering joining DVC, so my daughter will definitely see this when we are there looking.

While this is considered a DVC Member benefit, I have read on blogs that non-members were able to play! Doesn’t hurt to give it a try!

Droid Depot Runs Out of Carrying Boxes, No Discount Offered

Just like Savi’s Workshop, guests are being offered a clear plastic bag to carry their droid around, but unlike Savi’s Workshop, Cast Members said that there is no discount offered for the Droid Depot.

On the Droid Depot website, Disney lists a “Carry box” as being included with the $99 price tag for the build-a-droid experience.

Oh man. I feel like no matter how low I keep setting expectations, I need to go lower. This just emphasizes my plan to ship the things immediately, I guess.

Brittany Charboneau Becomes First Runner to Win All Four Marathon Weekend Races

The big story is that Brittany Charboneau, from Denver, made history by becoming the first runner in the events history to win all four races known as the Dopey Challenge.

The post has now been taken down. Those are videos she included and it looked fairly serious—can’t figure out if it happened today or not but I’m keeping my eyes peeled. I even googled past incidents and I wasn’t able to find anything that matched up.

According to various social media reports, tonight’s Cirque du Soleil show was canceled just minutes before the doors were planned to open.

Catching up on this thread. I was at the 5:30 pm show on Thursday. I wonder what happened.
