New Rumor Suggests S.E.A. Theme for Former Tarzan’s Treehouse at Disneyland

A new rumor suggests that Disneyland may have abandoned early concepts for an Encanto Treehouse at Disneyland, and is instead going to add some theming from the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) to the treehouse instead. Disneyland fan site MiceChat, who originally reported the Encanto overlay, is now saying that an S.E.A. theme is likely for the treehouse. The theme would be that the treehouse would serve as a meeting place and hideout for S.E.A. members. At the moment, all we have to go on is speculation as the treehouse reimagining project was not mentioned by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro at the recent D23 Expo.

Yes, and, while we've never done it, I have heard it was consistently very booked out and the character experiences had great reviews

The dinner at 1900 PF is our favorite character meal - both kids and adults.

Disney Files Patent for Glasses-Free VR Attraction​

Disney has filed a patent for a possible AR or VR attraction that would not require guests to wear 3D glasses or other headgear.

The system would utilize a projection screen and beamsplitter, carefully positioned around a physical scenic space to create the virtual object — reminiscent of the Pepper’s Ghost effect used in the Haunted Mansion ballroom scene.

I’m not sure if I live this guess or not… I of course want to open as soon as possible but I don’t think Presidents’ Day is spring

Actually been wondering this… if Disney considers Memorial Day weekend as the start of summer then what do they consider the start of spring? It might actually make sense: the holiday season for them starts in November and they start Halloween festivities in August. Of course I’m being ridiculously optimistic on this bc I also want it to be open as early as possible.

“A controller operates the projector assembly to project left and right eye images toward the projection screen. The left and right eye images are then directed to left and right eye positions so a viewer with eyes positioned at the left and right eye positions receives a virtual object concurrently with light from the physical scenic space.”

Breakfast With Santa Comes To Maria and Enzo’s at Disney Springs This Holiday Season

Guests are invited to feast on a decadent family-style spread in the grand dining room. Attendees can fill up on signature gourmet menu offerings with sweet and savory options to please every palate. Adults (21+) will be privy to a complimentary Prosecco mimosa while little ones enjoy take-home treats. After breakfast, guests will be ushered over to meet Santa. Children can share their holiday wishes with him and will receive a keepsake photo from their special meet and greet.


Platinum and gold seating categories are available for the Breakfast with Santa packages. The seating category determines table location as well as the order in which guests meet Santa. Platinum ticket holders will receive priority seating at tables with the best sweeping views of Lake Buena Vista and will be first in line to see Santa. Pricing will vary by seating category, date, and time, beginning at $30 for children and $50 for adults plus tax and gratuity. There is no charge for children that are two and under to attend. Each breakfast experience is an hour and a half long.

It's easy. I do want my child to be happy but if I'm paying as much as it costs for a Disney vacation then I have to enjoy it too. Seeing my life vicariously through them isn't worth that price.
