True, butWell, they can get pretty off-model sometimes - look at Frozen! That barely resembles the story it was "based" on. Not that that's a bad thing or anything, just an example of just how different the Disney version can be.
Is this DVC or regular GF? When would we expect them to be done with Boca Chica and move to a different building? I have a one night stay in late September in a regular GF room, and wondering if I should request renovated?
This is the Resort side! The DVC renovation took approximately 3 months. The Boca Chica started the end of June, so it’s possible! Is this DVC or regular GF? This is so depressing. 100% necessary given the horrible circumstances but still depressing.Disneyland Paris News:
Disneyland Paris Turns Off Gas Lamps in Main Street Arcades as War-Related European Energy Crisis Intensifies

Additionally, unnecessary energy use is being reduced, with pyrotechnic effects being turned off in the daytime, and limiting how much buildings are lit up at night. Doors in some locations will be kept closed, and HVAC systems will be adjusted to help curb how much energy is needed.
Agree with your sentiment. It's the right thing to do, but sad that they have to do it.This is so depressing. 100% necessary given the horrible circumstances but still depressing.
I kind of wish they would crank down the ac at the US parks. It gets freezing cold in the buildings, which is terrible when you are wearing summer clothes for the scorching weather outdoors.Disneyland Paris News:

The story can changed to this alternate version, where his wives just disappear:True, but <the spoiler> is sort of central to the story of Bluebeard, and not very Disney friendly
It could be that they all disappear into a cave and the newest wife goes on an adventure and finds them. Or they could be his daughters and sons that go missing. Then the story will take a turn to following the exploits of an adventurer woman who 'saves the day' by finding them all alive. In one version of the story, Bluebeard is a wealthy and powerful nobleman who has been married several times to beautiful women who have all mysteriously vanished. When Bluebeard visits his neighbor and asks to marry one of his daughters, the girls are terrified. After hosting a wonderful banquet, the youngest daughter decides to be his wife and she goes to live with him in his rich and luxurious palace in the countryside, away from her family.

Haunted Mansion Lawn Torn Up as Holiday Overlay Work Continues at Disneyland
Perhaps the most shocking development is that the entire lawn seems to have been torn out during the work. Nothing seems to be left of the landscaping in front of the Mansion except dirt, with an excavator clearly parked within the site. But this will certainly be cleaned up and resolved just in time for its reopening on September 2

Disneyland Replacing Grass with Artificial Turf on Haunted Mansion Lawn and Mickey Mouse Floral Planter at Train Station
Thanks to the OC Register, we have an answer as to what is going on with the lawn of The Haunted Mansion and at the famous Mickey Mouse floral planter at the entrance of Disneyland.
New artificial turf around the Mickey floral planter at the Disneyland Park entrance and the Haunted Mansion front lawn will be unveiled on Friday, September 2 when Halloween Time kicks off at the Anaheim theme park.
Disney has been slowly rolling out the artificial turf all over the park over past few weeks and months as part of a drought-fighting water conservation effort.
