New BoardWalk Deli Sandwich Shop Opening This Summer at Walt Disney World


Amid the changes to Disney’s BoardWalk, the new BoardWalk Deli will open this summer at Walt Disney World.

Disney released images previewing some of the menu items. It will be a Northeastern-style deli with a brand-new menu that will include fresh deli sandwiches, fresh baked breads, and a selection of bakery items.

Hours Extended at All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks in August


Guests will have more time to enjoy the Walt Disney World theme parks this August as hours have been extended

Magic Kingdom​


On August 12, 16, 19, 23, and 26, the Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00 a.m., with early entry for resort guests at 7:30 a.m., and close at 6:00 p.m. for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

The park will open at 9:00 a.m. but close at 7:00 p.m. on August 18.
For August 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 21, 22, 25, and 27, the park will still open at 9:00 a.m. but will now close at 11:00 p.m. The select dates with extended evening hours for resort guests will now be from 11:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m.

EPCOT​

EPCOT will now be open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily from July 31 through August 27. Early entry will begin daily at 8:00 a.m. for hotel guests.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios​

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also now open at 8:30 a.m. from July 31 through August 27, with early entry at 8:00 a.m. It will close at 9:00 p.m.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom​

Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will still open at 8:00 a.m. but will now close an hour later, at 8:00 p.m.

Bay Lake Tower Skyway Bridge Closing For 3-Day Refurbishment


From Monday, July 18 through Wednesday, July 20, 2022, the sky bridge connecting the two Contemporary buildings will be periodically closed for refurbishment. Current plans call for the bridge to close early Monday until early Tuesday morning. The bridge will be available to guests from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19. It will then remain closed all day Wednesday, reopening on Thursday, July 21

Bear in mind that refurbishment schedules are estimates and are subject to change.

Hmmm interesting no change to MK hrs the first part of Aug. I would think the first 2 weeks would be busier than the end.
 
Likely due to staffing being picked up more, and it's when they're able to start.
I though the extended hrs. had been happening pretty regularly throughout the summer though. To me it looked like hrs. were extended before and after, just with a gap for those 2 weeks. Interesting.

Northeastern style? Why can't they just call it a NY Style Deli? That's the only style that counts and everyone wants LOL.

Given how close it is to the Yacht Club, they might want to be roping in New England style foods as well.
