I suspect they’re going to give more firm dates for the splash mountain refurb. Because we haven’t gotten much of anything in a year and a half in regards to that.

additionally, they have tron they can fall back on as hype, as well as maybe tidbits about the Epcot revamp and the e ticket for avengers campus.

Other than that, your guess is a good as mine. I know some stuff is happening overseas, but domestically, doesn’t seem like there’s a lot in the pipeline after this round of construction is complete

sounds like after tron is complete there won’t be any totally new rides for many years

Is the e ticket slated for Avengers Campus in California not an original ride?
I believe it’s an original, but I feel like we haven’t heard many details on it in forever. It’s a race to see what project takes action first, that or splash mountain

I thought Disneyland was getting the Iron Man experience from Hong Kong Disneyland. I don't remember seeing/hearing anything else in a few years about it.

No, it was supposed to be a new Avengers ride (that ws going into multiple parks). The Iron Man ride is basically an updated version of Star Tours from what I understand.

Yeah there were some rumors that floated around last summer about why the Quinjet Experience is delayed a bit. One of which involved the show part of it was allegedly going to take place in Wakanda and it may have changed or been put on pause following the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Just a rumor though.

Also the Iron Man Attraction coming to Disneyland Paris is a Roller Coaster.

My impression was that the Quinjet ride is going to basically be an Avengers version of Smuggler's Run. Now, I'm not confident we'll get it at all. But Avengers Campus definitely needs more going on.

Oh, I hope not. I want something cooler than that in that space.

Same. But I won't be surprised...

Honestly, my issue with Smuggler's Run is the gamification of it, and the lopsided nature of that. It's really only fun if you are the pilots, and bad pilots can ruin the experience too. If you are gunner or engineer, you can barely pay attention to the show since you have to watch the buttons. I love the queue and pre-show, and obviously the Milennium Falcom set and cockpit, but I'd rather it be like Star Tours - passive and maybe with a few different scenarios. They already have WEB Slingers, and that is a game too (though you can't really impact the other riders through your gameplay). They really need something with more WOW factor for what was supposed to be the "A Ride" for the land.

On January 27th, the menu will focus on Maker’s 46, with the “Blackberry Blast” and the “Not Your Father’s Peach Tea” both featuring the spirit. Both of these cocktails have been designed to go with the Maker’s Port Wine Glazed Pork Loin!

Finally, you’ll find a menu that’s all about Maker’s 101 on February 3rd! The two cocktails, “Bittersweet Symphony” and “Coffee Crumble”, are expected to go beautifully with the Gochujang Marinated Tempura Shrimp.

I on the other hate being the pilot, I will always offer it up to someone else (and I'm a gamer). But the pilot seat makes me SO NAUSEAS! I can't focus on the screen sitting that close. So I thoroughly enjoy the other seats. But I agree, that area deserves a wow factor ride. Otherwise, overall, I feel like Avengers Campus was a bit of a let down. It looks great at night and the entertainment is pretty cool. But overall it's just meh.

Disney World & Disneyland profits expected to rebound in 2022

According to a new analyst report, profits should spike in 2023 and jump higher in 2024 as Disney’s U.S. theme parks bounce back from pandemic closures.

The financial outlook for Disney’s theme parks in Anaheim and Florida over the next few years looks strong after a pair of years marked by steep pandemic losses. Research firm MoffettNathanson stated their opinion in a recent analyst report.

Honestly that's what my fam and I love about it, I love pushing the buttons no matter the job hahhaha. It's the only one we re-rode our last visit.
Even if you don't like the interactive part of it, you can simply not click the initial button and the game will do your job automatically (at least for engineers and gunners), I've seen ppl just sit back and enjoy and it's never affected the rest of the riders.

My first experience on it was with people who had no idea what they were doing piloting and I kind of loved it. More because I got to kind of yell out what to do in the moment and react to it all. But I can also see why that’s not for everyone.
