Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've been to Epcot and the Magic Kingdom a couple of times as a kid and going back for the first time on a great big family trip in June 2016! It'll be me, the husband, our daughter, SIL, her husband and three kids, my husband's grandmother and aunt and her two young adult daughters. Whew! A ton of people, including two preteen boys and two toddler girls. I'm a little intimidated and I don't really know where to start planning.

I heard this was the place to go for trip planning and advice, so I plan on looking around and maybe posting a few clueless newbie threads begging for help. :)

It can be very overwhelming since there is so much information out there. What are some of the things you want to accomplish on the trip? Any ideas on where you are planning on staying? Plenty of people are here to help.

I'm not sure where we're staying! My husband's aunt is booking suites, but I'm not sure which hotel/resort. I'll have to find out. Probably not one of the official Disney ones. They're leaving most of the trip planning to us since we're Floridians (they're coming in from TX/LA). We'll be in Orlando for a week, and I know we'd like to hit the main parks. We're going to have to take a day off Disney so the kids can check out the Harry Potter section at Universal, too. :p
