Please don't think I'm an idiot.

Ok, I may ramble a bit so sorry in advance! We're getting to Orlando-Sanford late on a Saturday night, around 10pm. Obviously, we'll just go to our rooms and get up early the next morning. We're departing Orlando-Sanford on Wednesday, around 2:30pm. Our transport will pick us up from our resort at 11:30 to get us back to the airport. A couple things:

1. Would it make sense to even do a park on Wednesday? Would we have time to get there, enjoy it, take a bus back to Pop and be ready to leave on time at 11:30? Or would you just chill at your resort for that day? I guess I have to choose between 3 or 4 day park tickets.

2. I know this is a really short trip. That's about all we can afford this time around. I'm really interested in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Epcot seems like it might be boring for my kids. They're "do'ers". (ages 7, 6 & 3)They don't want to just walk around and look at things. Will Epcot hold their interest? I'm really worried about my really active 3-year old son here. Or would you skip Epcot and do another day of Magic Kingdom? How about MGM?

I have to make my ADRs in 6 days! I'm nervous and hoping to have my park plans finalized soon! :sunny:

1. You could make that work, but you'd be buying a whole day's ticket for about an hour and a half of park time. Unless you can hit an EMH, it'd be a lot of rushing around for not a lot of time in the park.

2. Yes, Epcot will hold their interest. Lots to do there, Mission: Space, Test Track, Soarin'. World Showcase might not be exciting, but my kids surprised me in how much they enjoyed it. MGM would be a good back-up plan, though. Then again, you can't go wrong hitting MK again...sorry, I'm no help. :)

It sounds like you would enjoy 2 days at MK and one day at AK. Also, if your on a budget, you won't get your value out of a 4 day ticket when you have to be back at your resort by noon. I'd take that day and "chill" and do some shopping. It sounds so fun! I can't wait to go back!

My advice would be, don't spend the $ for that 4th day for just a couple of hours - take that day to enjoy the pool - OR make ressies for Chef Mickey's for breakfast and meet some characters! If you know that you'll see Mickey that day you can save some standing in line time to see characters while you are in the park.

My kids are 8 and 4 and if we were doing just 3 days we'd spend 2 of them at Magic Kingdom. So much to see and it is the most "Disney" of the parks for little ones. Do you have the Disney planning DVD? That gives you a sense of the other parks. If you pick AK remember that it closes earlier than the other parks so you could go to a dinner show like Hoopdedu or the Luau at the Poly.

IMHO that would not really leave you much time to enjoy your pass. By the time you get to the parking lot, wait for the tram to transport you to the monorail, then take the monorail to the park (that's assuming you're doing MK, if not you'll still have to wait for the tram to transport you to a park) and get through the gates, you're talking about a good chunk of time. Even if you take advantage of early entry, you're still not going to get on more than a couple of rides at best. You'll probably be rushing around so much it won't be that enjoyable.

I agree with the above poster. Take that morning and enjoy a nice leisurely character breakfast with the money you'll save not buying the 4 day pass. Pick the one that has the characters you're kids love best. You'll have a wonderful time and a great memory to depart with.

Enjoy your trip!! :sunny:
