Disney Newbie Needs Help: AKL Arusha vs Savanna View??

We are spending two nights prior to driving to the keys. Where do we stay with our 4 year old in the Animal Kingdom Lodge? Planning to spend one day at the pool and one day at Animal Kingdom. I never knew going on vacation could be so confusing.

I'm with you on planning and confusion! I can't find anything telling me the diff between the two savanna views!!!

Savanna view! Of all the WDW Resorts it was the best view ! The rooms are one of the smallest and balcony was small , but so worth it to watch the animals in the morning while drinking my coffee

What I learned in another post is the Arusha savanna is generally favored. The standard club level rooms in the lodge overlook the Arusha savanna (a little more $ than the regular Arusha rooms) and you then become eligible to book the Sunrise Safari and breakfast which came highly recommended. We got it all worked out so I'm excited. The Sunrise Safari is only on Thursdays and Saturdays I believe.

Disney is confusing for sure.
