I'm torn between the week of April 24th or the week of May 8th. I'm not concerned about the weather as much as I am about crowds. I know it's only within a few weeks of each other, just wondering if one is better than the other. The online crowd calendars confuse me a bit since some are pretty conflicting. Thanks in advance!

I dont know when the kids go on spring break, but you may want to look into that as when they do, the parks get very crowded.

either should be good.

Hi, Stephen! Welcome to the DIS. Either week should be fine, as Easter is the week before on the 16th. School in Florida will still be in session, and most spring breaks will be over. While the parks will be crowded, they won't be nearly as bad as the week of Easter and the end of May through the summer. Have a great time!

Some schools get the week after Easter. Some get week before Easter.

I just think for the most part the "new" Disney is much busier than years back regardless of what week/day/month chosen.
My suggestion is to simply Plan Ahead as much as your comfortable doing and then be prepared for some flexibility.
Most important try n be IN the moment and Enjoy what you can/will be able to see/do so as not to be too disappointed. You simply can't do and see it all but u can still have a great time.
Safe n Happy travels one and all.

We go during the end of April or the 1st half of May ever year. I'll echo what everyone else said: you'll be good either time. If I were making a pro-con list for those times the only thing I'd mark is that going earlier might get you one or two degrees cooler in temperature! Sounds like a small thing but Disney gets hot!

We did the week of 4/26 in 2015 and it was fantastic. Great weather. As mentioned before, there's not really a time anymore where you're going to go and it feels 'dead'. It's always somewhat busy. As long as you're avoiding the school breaks, marathons, etc, you'll be fine. Just know that it will be somewhat busy, get your FPs for the busy mid-day, utilize shorter lines early in the AM or later in the evening. It's really a beautiful time of year to go - lots of blooming gardenias and whatnot.

I'm going April 26th to May 5th...and have been for several years...its really good...lower crowds...lower heat...no rain!

We did the last week of April on our first trip. It was great!! Weather was fabulous and the crowds were not an issue either.
