Disney New Years Eve

I'm planning a vation for next New Years Eve. I would like to know how those of you that have been at disney during New Year Eve. How did you celebrate? Trying to come up with some ideas for us. Dh , Me & 17 year old DS. Any and all ideas welcome. Thanks!

i went one year during new years and it was SO BUSY!!! They had to shut down the magic kingdom to in comming guests by noon - so crazy - so busy!!!
Would probably not do it again. they had a count down concert in MGM - FUN BUT BUSY -

How did we spend NEY at WDW...ASLEEP!!! We were at the park for 7 AM opening on the 31st and by 8:30 our DD3 and DS5 were sound asleep in the stroller. It was PACKED! If you intend on going to do any rides you should be there first thing and don't plan on leaving the park. The most annoying thing was that horns were handed out in the early afternoon and we had to hear that "tooting" until we stepped foot on the bus.
