I disagree. I bought my Minnie 2013's while there for the Jingle Jungle 5k this past November. I like that they're exclusive.

That being said, there are several shopping services on Facebook that will go and purchase them for you over the weekend.

I would be much happier about it if they would restrict the purchase of event merchandise to event participants. If there's any merchandise left after the participants (who have paid money to participate and, in the case of races, have trained long and hard to participate) have completed their purchases, then let the general public have access. And I wish Nike had the shoe license, not New Balance. Nike has the ID program, so we could all create the Disney shoes we want, rather than being restricted to buying gender-specific shoes.
