Disney Name Tag ???

Where in each park can you purchase the WDW name tags? Are the name tags the same in each park?

I know that the only store that has sold them in the past is at DTD....if you get off the bus over by Rainforest Cafe'....there is a Christmas store....in the very back of the store they sell the name badges and will engrave them for you while you wait.......

Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM has them and will engrave them with your name.

What about in MK? I saw the ones at DTD but they are the super cheapy ones with the stick on pin that I expect will fall off before you finish the SM ride....

In MK, they are available in the Uptown Jewelers on Main St.

They are meant to be convertible. You can wear them as a pin or whatever. I don't think there is anything but one kind, and "cheapie" or not it never fell off on an 8 day trip in December and an 8 day trip in April. If that isn't what you are looking for you may be out of luck.

I only saw one kind but there were a couple designs when I bought mine in Dec 2006. Never looked on the last trip so don't know if there is still more than one design...

I just bought these for my girls from an online store. I know it was a couple dollars more but I wanted them for when we get there. For two pins plus shipping ($2.50) the total was $17.

I am using them because they are cute and will help if God forbid one of our girls gets lost!

I bought these for DD2 and DD7 and my parents for our December trip and put them in their Easter baskets. They are convertible as pin, magnet or keychain.

What I meant was there was another version that had the pin attached to it and it cost more but seemed more sturdy and lasting. I'll check the stores when I go back next month to see if they have this other version.

We have the ones from the Christmas store - I ordered them over the phone. They are pretty study, IIRC, they have a safety pin and a metal clip as well. We've had them for 4 trips already - I confiscate them from the kids as soon as we leave WDW, never to be seen by them until our next trip (which is in 45 days BTW).

We had to purchase them again for our kids last summer. They are all the same now. No park had any that were better than the others. You have a bigger choice of characters now also. I don't think the quality is quite as good as they used to be but they held up for the entire trip and we plan to use them again this July.
