Disney Nails!

I am closer to 60 than 50 and taking my 38 y/o daughter in the fall so we can have a birthday celebration. Our birthdays are a month apart. I found a few sites with Disney nails and was commenting on them. My S/O Said he'd pay for a manicure before I go if I wanted them. Now, I state my age because I've NEVER had a manicure in my life!! I'm rough on my nails and do physical lifting/work along with lots of computer stuff. I don't have a CLUE what I should get. Something easy, short, not damaging to my natural nails, etc. Any clues? Oh, and I LOVE the nails so far!! I think I found lots of nails on Pinterest. They're all so cute, I'll have trouble deciding WHICH I want!!

I love Pinterest! I have looked at the nails too and love the polka dot ones with mickey heads. Maybe you could just get a manicure and have the nail person paint Mickey or maybe make Mickey out of rhinestones?

Has anyone tried this? I was thinking about getting it to do a polka dot french manicure and then paint little mickey heads in the middle of the french manicure. I am not good at polka dots but want to have something like this:

I have a cricut machine and was thinking maybe I could cut mickey heads out on vinyl and stick them to my nails then paint my nails with clear. Do you think that would work?

Yeah I think that would probably work, although I have never tried it. I have seen things similar to that though, so I think it would be great! :goodvibes
You could also try to put a clear coat down first, then while still wet put the mickey head down, then another top coat when that's dry. Hope it works! :thumbsup2

I usually just come up with ideas, or copy them from others I've seen... Then I tape my nails to make straight sections and lines, and (since I don't have a dotting tool) I use the tip of a pen or end of a paintbrush to make designs! A lot of time and patience helps too :lmao:
I don't have one, but if you're looking for a nail dotting tool, here's one -

And here's a link to one of the tutorials I used... I LOVE this one :goodvibes

LOL WAIT I JUST REALIZED MY IMAGE WASN'T WORKING!!! :rotfl: Here are my nails...

I LOVE these nails! Sadly I bite mine and they are so short I couldn't do that. My school doesn't even allow nail varnish anyway :(

These aren't Disney, but I'm actually pretty proud of these! :goodvibes
