Disney movie vault release question

Saw that Alice in Wonerland, Princess and the Frog are coming out in March. Is Beauty and the Beast supposed to be released this year as well? Thought I read that before, but cant find a date. Also, should I buy Aladdin now, or do you think i will be re-released again? Thanks!

I believe I read somewhere that Beauty and the Beast will be a fall release this year. Fantasia and Fantasia 2 are also being released this year.

Fantasia and Beauty are both "vault" titles, meaning that once they are released and then go back into the vault, they won't be out again for a REALLY long time. Wikipedia has a list of the "vault" titles here. Yeah, I know - take what you read on Wikipedia with a grain of salt... but, anyhow... According to this, Aladdin is no longer a "vault" title, so it should continue to be available.

I believe every 10 years. I had to buy BB off ebay 2 yrs ago because my 3 yr old liked her at disneyworld but know one had the movie and she had never seen it. Kinda ridiculous if you think about it. By doing this this my daughter almost missed out on the whole BB thing. And disney missed out on selling merchandise since my daughter does not know who she it.

Psyched that Alice will be out again! And of course, we will have to get Princess and the Frog.

Yes, Beauty and the Beast is due out this fall. It's the only princess dvd that we don't have, and Belle is MY favorite princess! I can't wait!

Unless they have changed, the vault titles used to get rereleased once every 7 years. My guess is that the idea behind that is they hit every kid once in their prime Disney years!
