Disney Movie Rewards

I have not bought any of the current movies but with the last VMK movie items(Herbie) our DVD was bought at Target and did indeed say it was included but was not.

I did not have to send anything proving that I had made that purchase but then there were no "real" items involved with that promotion.

Just wanted to throw it out there that Target did not have coupons included in DVD's in last promo so this is not a new occurence.

I did not have to send anything in during the Herbie promotion either to get my code .....but appears rules have once again changed! does that surprise anyone ?

but this time it is required to send in reciept I copied and pasted over the directions sent by email from customer service

I am new to the whole Movie Rewards Program. I am at 300 (with my survery, Cars and Little Mermaid points). Is there any way to find out which movies have had codes on them in the past and use those. We have a ton of Disney movies that I could go back and look for the codes. Can you do that?

This is a new program that just started, so your older movies do not count (unfortunately) towards any rewards.

So far, the only other releases the count are the Fox and the Hound's new release and a Christmas Clubhouse Mickey dvd.

The movies that are eligible for teh rewards program are listed on the website. Unfornuately only movies released or rereleased in the last months are eligible

I purchased my "Herbie" movie from Wal-Mart. It did not have a code. However, there was a phone number in the DVD on some marketing advertisements. I called that number and was mailed the "Herbie" codes. I did not have to send in any kind of proof of purchase. It would be nice to know which stores have the codes, so none of us have this problem. :tink:

Are the codes on the outside of these DVDs? My boys are older so we don't purchase a lot of these Disney dvds anymore, but I am planning on buying a couple as Christmas gifts for other family members. But if the code is on the inside, then I can't exactly open it to get the code out. LOL! All right, thinking this through, common sense tells me that the code would have to be on the inside; otherwise ppl would just be copying down the codes without buying. Gr! Guess my plan won't work then... Still stuck at 100 measly points. Gr!

The code is inside I do think you could probably split it on one of the sides and not open ther others and pull the paper out.

You could also check your video store. Mine had the papers with the codes still in the boxes on the shelves. I didn't bother with it since I bought Cars and we can only use 1 code for each movie. I found that out when I bought a copy of Little Mermaid for me and my sister and was horrified that I could not use both codes.

Next time I go to the video store I will try to write a few down codes and you can see if you can get an extra 100 points.

Now don't everyone PM me for this! I offered this to HER.... :)

I emailed them about me not being able to log in properly and enter the code and they told me to delete cookies.

How do you do clear cookies from the computer?

While in the browser, got to tools, and then options. In IE you want to be on the General tab. Click delete cookies. :)
In Firefox, you want the Privacy tab. Click on delete cookies.

While doing this, you may also want to clear your temporary files or cache. :)

to expand... in IE7 go to Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, Browsing History section, click "Delete" then click "Delete" in the Cookies section

I've done everything and it still won't let me enter a code! :confused3 :confused3

ok I now have TWO movies without cards. A Fox and The Hound and that Mickeys Clubhouse. I am going to fax the receipts in but I think that having to mail AND fax is a little much. After all it is a Disney screwup (or more likely the subcontractor that puts the DVD together) so why do they need to make it so difficult?

I found that with Little Mermaind and Fox and The Hound they have a cardboard sleeve over them. I was able to cut the wrapping on one side easily take out the code or in TFATH case, there wasn't a code. Slip the wrapping back over the case, put back the cardboard sleeve and you can't even tell it was opened.

Of couse I did this for my niece and nephew and my sister wouldn't care if it was totally opened.

So I will have a second set as soon ad Disney gets my receipts in the mail.
