In the original Parent Trap, the mom was Maggie McKendrick and was played by Maureen O'Hara.

I never would have thought of half of these! But this list did make me think of Lizzie McGuire's mom and Raven's mom -- though I don't know their names.

And I recall Will Turner in (Pirates of the Caribbean) mentioning his mom who raised him while his father was at sea.

Oh, and would Lilo's sister be considered her "surrogate mom"? I can't remember her name right now either... anyone?

What were Hercules' mom's names?

And of course, we CAN'T forget Walt Disney's mom (what a mom she must have been -- to inspire such a creative genius for a son -- and two sons that were close brothers!) or Mrs. Walt Disney either!!!! What a wonderful, loving, supportive mom (and wife) she must have been! Does anyone know the names of these women?
