DISney moms of ALL BOYS!

:wave2: Mom of two boys checking in. They are 6.5 and 3 and I love having boys. I am 8 weeks pregnant with #3 and I am assuming it's another boy, although I do want to find out the gender at the ultrasound. Who knows, but I hate it when people say, "Oh, you must be trying for a girl...thinking pink this time?" Ugh. I just want a healthy baby.

Alice I know how you feel. My mil was the worst about it. Because I was 35 and 37 with my last 2 pg's I had an amnio and we did let them tell us the sex--even though we said no I caved when they called, lol. Mil asked after every dr visit, oh is it still a boy? Um yeah, its still a boy. Got her back though. When they came to see the baby after we got home from the hosp she said he was cute and all and I said yeah, not bad for a boy huh? lol Sorry I just couldnt help myself.

I have all boy does that count??

one child and it's looking like that's going to be it

edited to add he's been to disney every year of his life and he loves it as much as I do! We don't have any plans of not going anytime soon!!

Deena-Oh wow, you are a brave woman taking all 6 of them shopping!! LOL You must be a supermom. :) Too funny about that comment to your MIL! LOL!!

Alice28-Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! :sunny: You'll have to let us know when you find out the gender!! If it's a girl, you can't be in our club anymore. :p ;) (Just kidding!!) How are you feeling? Do you get morning sickness?

WhenUwishUponAstar-welcome! :)

Ugh, my 5 month old is so fussy right now! He just wants to keep nursing.

This Diva Mom to 3 is Mom to 3 sons......
Ages 11 (will be 12 in Sept. and is going into 7th grade.)
9 (entering 4th grade) and 4 (entering PreKindergarten.)

They all love Disney. I don't plan on having any more children. If I did, I'd half heartedly hope for a girl, but also wish for a boy, since I'd have nowhere to put a girl in this 3 bedroom house!

People did this to me constantly with #2 and #3. When I told them I was having a boy with #3, I SWEAR TO GOD, they looked disappointed for me, like I was having the "next best thing" or the consilation prize. My 3rd son is the world's best and biggest angel.

Hello! We have a 4 bedroom house, so if we have a 4th child, two of these guys are going to have to double up. But my 4 yr old wants bunk beds so that would work out. :) Which of yours share a room?

My boys hate shopping. I order alot of stuff online for them. Lands End has some great sales as does Sierra Trading post. We only have three bedrooms so if we have another baby the two oldest will be sharing a room. They think it would be great so who knows.

I've never heard of Sierra Trading Post..will check it out! :) I've never ordered anything from Lands End, but I constantly hear such good things about them. I should give it a go. I think I read in another thread that they have good pants for slim kids? My 4 yr old is tall and skinny, so he's a hard fit.

We just moved from a three bedroom house where all four of the boys have doubled up all of their lives!! They now have their own rooms and when they get in trouble I can finally say, "Go to your room!!!!" and No One else goes in there with them!!:hyper:

I go shopping with all four of mine, ONLY when there is no way around it!! So, I am impressed 4greatboys that you were brave and took ALL 6 of those boys!! Very impressed!!::yes::

I find lands end fits really well. Both my boys are tall. My five year old is already 48 inches so I have trouble finding clothes and they seem to be the best.

Sierra Trading Post is hit or miss. I get some Lands End fleece pajamas for $5.99 so I just check the site once in awhile to see what they have.

Slightly OT---scrappinMickey--I remember you live close to me. Do you ever go to the crops at Just4Fun??

Divamomto3 --I hate it when ppl act like that

I have shopped Lands End for DS since we adopted him at age 4. Great experiences. He wore one of their winter coats for two winters. Towards the end of the second winter, the zipper broke. They said to send it back and they would replace the coat. I said if I were to send it back, he would have no coat to wear--a broken zipper is better than no coat at all. They not only mailed me a new coat, they included a postage paid return for the coat with the broken zipper.

Have not had to order slim, but have been impressed with the husky sized products.

Thanks Liz for the congrats; I had my first bout of terrible "morning" (try all day) sickness today and probably TMI but my throat still hurts from the heaving. :(

My boys already share a room; we have 3 bedrooms and they share a very large bedroom. The got bunkbeds, with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on the top. Half the time they still sleep in the same bed, as they shared a full bed for a year. (We had a crib but DS#2 preferred sleeping with big bro, which was fine with us as we hoped it would cement some strong bonds).

My boys don't care for shopping either. I usually go to Old Navy, sometimes Gap clearance and I'm also a fan of Osh Kosh (outlets or discounted at the dept. store) and Carters. The boys like Carters cause they have the legos to play with while I shop.

Three DS's here.
My youngest, CHris, is 13 and a totaly Disney Spaz like his mother. He will still run up to Pooh at CP when we have breakfast there. In fact a few weeks ago he asked me when we were going back to WDW and when I told him to try figuring something out he went out bought books, checked with CRO and budgeted two Christmas trips for us, one 13 nights and one 8 nights. Needless to say upon seeing al his work we actually booked the trip.
Next is Wesley my 14year old. He is not quite as big of a Disney Spaz because now he is trying to look cool and anything I like is not cool in his book. However everytime we schedule a trip and offer to let him stay with his grandparents he is quick to say he wants to go.
Finally, Dalton my newest son, 14 years old. To explain I have to go back a bit. When I was in high school I was in love with Jeff but after a brief engagement we broke up because he was in the Marines and I was still in high school and not mature enough to handle the situation. Fast forward to 2000 and we bumped int each other at the grocery store and found out we were both going through divorce's. It took no time to realize that we were always meant to be and in December 2002 Jeff popped the question outside WDW wedding pavilion. We were finally married this June 1st, exactly 15 years to the day after our original set wedding date.
Dalton has never really been exposed to Disney in a positive way so I am working on him and recently he even requested that he get to go next time we do so he can feel it out. There is hope.:grouphug:

My 9 year old and 4 year old. I thought the son going into middle school needed some privacy, but the 9 year old identifies more with the almost 12 year old. It was a tough call. Originally, the baby had his own room.

Another Lands' End fan here. I like classic clothing and find the quality at LE very good for the price. It's also got room to grow, which is always a welcome bonus!

I have two boys, no girls! Trevor is 3 and Isaac is 14 months, and they will be going on their first Disney trip next month, so I don't know how they'll like it, but like it or not, they'll be visiting again in the next couple years, and every couple years after that until they're 18 and then I won't pay for them to go if they don't want to!

Trevor loves Toy Story and anything associated with it; he also likes Cinderella, Aladdin, and the Lion King...

Mom of 4 boys here. Started with a girl who is now married and the mom of a 4 month old girl. Then we had 4 boys who are now 20, 17, 11 and 7. They have all been to Disney and love it. I' m going with the two younger boys in September. They are the BEST travellers. Their sister has joined the three of us on numerous trips and loves to be with them. DH goes about once every other year with us.

By the way, DH is oldest of 6 boys (ALL Eagle Scouts!!) and 2 great sisters. I was youngest and had 3 older brothers. I KNOW boys. We have a neighbor boy who has spent years with us and almost qualifies as a deduction on our taxes. He has 4 sisters... we've kept him de-sissified.
