Has anyone be thinking of trying this. I got something in the mail yesterday and DW won't leave me alone about it. She wants one but we already have a cell service. I wonder how it will stack up. Anyone have it yet?

I'm thinking of trying this. I have a contract until Jan, but I may get one for my son and then when my contract is up, I'll switch to the family plan. It seems like the prices are pretty even with all the other services plus the GPS and the family alert functions are pretty nice. I also like the way that you can limit your childs minutes per day, what time of day they can use the phone, and what numbers they are allowed to dial. All via the Internet. Gotta love being able to control your kids and they don't even know it!!

I seems like a good plan. And I like all the Disney extras!!
But I couldn't see where it stated who actually providing the cell phone service. Does Disney now own cell antennas??

I believe the service is through Sprint....

Here's the link it uses Sprint towers and tech. but it is separate from sprint just like the FAiling ESPN Network cell phones.
