Disney Mix Stick help

I got 2 Pirates Mix Sticks for my sons. They charged, I put music on them, but won't play. If they are connected via the USB cable to my pc, I can play the songs on it, but the stupid player won't work if you put headphones on it. (Yes, I tried other headphones that I know work.) Any suggestions?? Is there something I am doing wrong? There is a green light on it and the button is not pushed to "hold".

I hope you kept the receipt, because Digital Blue will not honor the warranty with out it.

I have a POTC Mix stick and it is finicky at best tried to get it serviced from digital blue but since I had lost the receipt they would not even talk to me basically.

did you accidentally hit hold when you are taking it off the PC, I know that has happened here. Wihtout looking at it and trying it in my hand it is hard to diagnose.

Well, after fooling with the first one for about 5 hours trying to get songs on it and then get the thing working, I gave up. My 6 year old son walked off with it and came back a couple minutes later with it working. Ugh, he's just like his dad, just looks at something and makes it work to make me look stupid. I think the second one wasn't fully charged, dd told me she'd turned off the pc. So, both are working and boys are thrilled for now! (I think I'll be keeping my eyes open for a good deal of shuffles, though!)
