Disney Minnie Van service now from MCO to deluxe hotels guests (not just club level)

Here’s an article with full details:

Minnie Van Rolling Out Exclusive Airport Service to Disney Deluxe Resort Guests

Previously, only Club-level guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel could book travel to and from MCO via the Minnie Van Service. Now, starting Wednesday, August 13, guests staying at a Deluxe Resort hotel and VIP Tour guests will be able to book this benefit as well.

Pricing is set at $199 each way for airport travel, or $398 for a round-trip.

Each Minnie Van can accommodate up to six guests. Two car seats are included.

Deluxe Resort hotels at Walt Disney World include:
Guests can book a Minnie Van by utilizing the Lyft app. Simply open the app from select locations within Walt Disney World Resort to access the service and request a ride.

Accessible Minnie Vans are also available, which include seating for five people, one complimentary car seat, and two spaces for mobility devices.

Tiffany charges $140 one way for SUV service from MCO to WDW. Tiffany says there is a10% additional service fee, not tip. The service fee is for gas, drinks offered, car cleanup etc.

I haven't read anything from Disney.

The wdwnt.com article doesn't offer a supporting link. The article doesn't mention service to DVC resorts. It doesn't offer booking information. Other blogs say you book it by calling signature services

I would prefer they brought the Waymo driverless taxis to Orlando. They are great in San Francisco. You don't have to worry about getting a lousy driver which happens most of the time with Uber.

While expensive, I would consider it. My husband hates driving in Orlando, and on some of our trips, we don't need a rental because we can take the bus or Disney transport everywhere. We need a car seat and a booster seat, plus I don't use Lyft or Uber because I don't really trust ride shares. Minnie Vans are Disney CMs, and it saves me the time of having to research which car service is better out of all the names I have seen mentioned. We were ok with the Mears bus, so we will probably stick with that, but I could see using this as a splurge.

If you allow me to suggest, there are different companies that provide extraordinary private services for half or less of the price.
The cars are huge, clean, and come with car seats.

IMHO the only plus of minnie vans is the CM, which in theory should be more friendly. However, although most CMs are super friendly, that is not a guarantee. For ME, saving $200 or more and using a very similar service (minus the sticker) is super worth it.

look into gearfusion. I have used them multiple times, drivers are super nice and cars are great.

Hm, this article makes it sound like it can't be pre-booked anymore. The reason we like it is so we can pre-book it for my mom so she doesn't have to use an app (she's pretty horrible with technology). Plus we like the driver waiting for us when we arrive. Hopefully pre-booking is still an option!

It seems like the article is just meshing the "new" service and the way people can order one from park to hotel.

We won't be using this, but I agree, if I'm just ordering one when we land, what's the point? 😄

Like @Lewisc mentioned earlier it really doesn't have any information.
I'm sure prebooking will be available somehow.
The article mentions using the lyft app but that is for booking them when on property as it is location based.

We usually agree but not on this one. I think if it were less expensive it would get used by everyone and the service would go downhill.

I’m too cheap for a minnie van vs hopping on a Disney boat or even bus but this is all the way from the airport.
I for sure agree that if it were cheaper, everyone would use it. I guess for me it’s still just a car ride to the resort, regardless of who the driver works for, and it’s not worth triple the cost of an Uber.

I would feel differently about it if it were a once in a lifetime or once in many years trip.

If you compare with UBER, then I see the appeal of minnie vans, regardless of the price (it is a premium service compared to uber after all). But if you compare with other private companies (like gearfusion), I don't see the appeal, since I will have to pay at least 50% more for same service/comfort in terms of convenience (minus the stickers and the CM driver, that could be or not more pleasant than the other driver).

Yes, I am surprised at how many people are uncomfortable with Uber. I’ve always had great experiences and pretty nice vehicles.

Many different ways to get from MCO to WDW. Different levels of service. Different prices.
Some, very few, use Lynx. Lynx is a city bus.
As you move up you're paying more for smaller increases in service. Basic ride share offers non stop private service.

Some people are willing to pay $$ for things other think is a waste of money. Many of us think Minnie Vans aren't worth the extra. However I understand not everyone is the same.

Back to your point. Which companies offer Chevy SUV vehicles, which seat 6 and include 2 car seats for under $100? What company can accomodate 2 ECVs?

I understand you think Minnie Vans are too expensive. I don't know why your misrepresent competitors pricing.

The market price for Similar vehicles is $150+. That's not half price. The upcharge is probably less then the cost of a QS meal family of 5 or 6

I’m sure more information will come out tomorrow, once the service becomes available to start booking.

I was at Disney this February 2026. I used gearfusion. I paid (receipt in front of me) $162 roundtrip from MCO to boardwalk.
That is less than half of Minnie Vans, that charge $199 each way ($400 round trip).

The car was a new GMC Yokun, had car seats that I did not need, and the driver was on time, and friendly. I could have stopped at Publix for an extra $15, but decided not to.

I am comparing minnie vans to similar services (private drivers), not to uber

just my 2 cents.

Current Gear Fusion price, luxury SUV with 2 car seats is $130 one way; I just checked. Competitors are between $150 and $200.

The difference isn't worth it to me. I wouldn't use Minnie Van for airport transfers.

I chose not to attack posters who have a different opinion. Disney is able to charge premium pricing. Minnie Van is the same. Disney couldn't meet the demand if the price was around $150.

and that is ok. nobody is attacking anyone here, why people are getting so worked up? I just clarified when people were comparing minnie vans to uber. I was not comparing to uber, but to other similar services.

I was clear that it was my opinion, each one of us have our opinions. Minnie van is worth to you, great.
I got so many tips from other users here in this forum when I thought one specific option was better and somebody pointed out something similar that was cheaper. I was just trying to do the same.

peace !

We would use the airport service if we had more than 4 people, but it's a little too pricey for me otherwise. We paid this round trip for Tiffany Towncar and got a quick stop at Publix too. We do like Minnie Vans when they can take us directly to locations on property, like Hoop Dee Doo or Typhoon Lagoon.

I used to be a big fan of Tiffany's until the last time we used them ended so abysmally. The first time I booked them the tip was added on in the checkout page when you booked. The second time we booked there was a follow up message asking if we wanted to leave a tip. The third time there was no mention of it and it slipped our minds because we were dealing with our DD's medical fragility at the time. The last driver drove us to the airport with the window down on the highway the whole time with his music blasting and when DH didn't immediately give him a tip (as I'm trying to set up DD's wheelchair) the driver started yelling at him.

Tiffany even called DH asking why he didn't tip the driver about 5-10 minutes later as we're trying to get through security. We explained we don't carry cash and we're happy to tip (though not that driver) just give us the option like uber or lyft which we had used several times that week (and tipped every time). We authorized them to charge us $20 for a tip for our first driver when we realized he didn't receive anything but the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths. This time we are spending $400 to rent a van for the week. I'm over the tipping in the US, just charge me what it's going to cost up front, I'm too tired to be doing percentages every time I turn around in public now. My family actually pays above market rate to go to a non tipping salon because it eliminates the awkwardness and anxiety, and the service is fantastic.

Welcome to my TED talk, sorry about the rant. If the Minnie Van had no tipping involved I would pay the $400 without blinking. I miss magical express :sad1:

If these were around when our kids were younger we may have used this service just for the WOW factor.

Now, for the two of us, we regularly use Tiffany, with a Limo or large SUV because we HAVE to have a grocery stop to pick up some beer, wine, fruit and maybe a breakfast pastry or 2.

Does this strike anyone else as massively overpriced?
Of course, but look at Disney as a whole and this price is right inline with Di$ney prices. Remember it's not about the magic it's about the money. They are not running this to be nice, they are running this to make money.
