Disney Military Tickets

My mother bought 5 Disney Military Tickets at shades of green in June. They will expire before December 2009 (not sure). Does anyone know if a CAC card can be used to activate these tickets. I am a military dependent but I am arriving th day after I turn 23, which means I no longer have an active Military ID. Am I able to use a military Cac card other wise I'm going to have to find different tickets!!! Please help!!!!

I would call shades of green,Think you can use the tickets just cant buy anything in the shades of green gift shop.Will you be going with your parents or by yourself.My daughter went with us to shades of green and she was 24 when we went and didnt have a problem

Did your Mom activate the cards when she was there? If she did you are good to go. If not you can't activate them without a Military ID but you only need one person in your party to have an ID card so if your parents (or anyone with an ID card) are going with you then you'll be OK. The tickets must be used by Dec 23,2009

I'm going with my boyfriend! Our first vacation together. I have a cac card which is a military id but it says i'm a civilian. By the time I get there my military id will be expired by one day...I turn 23 on October 21 but I won't arrive in Disney till the Oct 22. I already have the tickets but they are not activiated...looks like i'm in a big mess!

We had to show one ID and answer which base my DH was stationed at when we activated ours, but after that, nothing. No problems, so if they aren't activated, then you're in a pickle.

Only the military member or spouse can activiate the tickets. You would not be able to activate it either way since you are only a dependant. Now if your mom activated them ahead of time than you should be okay.
