Too cute! :rotfl:

I started this thread on a whim - but am enjoying the novelty of the pictures everyone is posting. I also enjoy the pictures of the attractions, resort, parks, restaurants, entertainment - but haven't seen many creative pictures of "the stuff". Think I'll start another - for "signs"...

Great shots, Kelly, as usual. You set the benchmark on this board!

BTW, who was responsible for assembling Mr./Mrs. Tater Head??? "Unique"...er...assembly!

Thanks for the compliment.

As far as Mr/Mrs Tater Head... I did those assemblies. I spend literally hours at Epcot to play with those things. DH and DD7 are always tired of waiting for me and they get on to M:S and TT while I'm playing with the Tater Heads.

At home I only have Darth Tater with no additional attachements (can't find any in Canada, especially the Disney-related ones)

I've got one of those Darth Taters, too. Now, I'm looking for some "Zurg" accessories...

Excellent images, as usual. REAL tempted to buy a 20D!

Thank you!
I love the 20D.
I was in a store a couple of weeks ago and I picked up the Rebel XT with the 17-40 f/4L lens mounted ... and talk about temptation! It felt really nice - balanced, not too heavy. All it took was for me to think about the fact that I might be losing my job by the end of the summer - and that was enough for me to put the camera down and walk out of the store. :sad1:

I'm actually mulling a Konica/Minolta 7D, available at present with 18-70 kit lens for a little over $700 from the Stuffmart (WalMart). My old film cam's are Maxxum and I have a pretty good collection of Maxxum glass, so the 7D, at that price, seems like a solid choice. Sony is offering a pretty good buyback warranty, in the event of parts outages on warranty repairs, so the risk of being left high and dry is minimized, since the new Sony dSLR line uses the same mount. In the meantime, I'm not unhappy with the perfomance of my $225 S5200.

You are very kind; thank you for the compliment. There are *so* many good photographs in various threads on this forum. It's such fun to see how other see and photograph the parks. Everyone has a different approach, and I'm always anxious to see others' perspectives.

WOW $724 for the 7D and kit lens is incredible.

There is also some outfit selling refurbs on Ebay for $618(body only), but I would sleep easier if it was new.

This is brand new, with K/M one year warranty, that Sony is honoring either by repairing the camera, if needed parts are available, or by buyback if not. Presumably, if one were in a buyback situation, your option would be to move "up" to a Sony dSLR, of which there is only one at present, the just-released A100. Others are sure to follow. I have heard some faint rumors that the next will be more pro-oriented. The K/M 7D is a very capable, impressive machine, from everything I have read, and my film cameras are Maxxum 7000i's and I have a pretty good collection of Maxxum glass, all of which are fully functional on the 7D, albeit with a 1.5X crop factor, due to the size difference between 35mm film and the APS format sensor.

Main drawback for me personally is that I hate changing lenses, and am quite sure I'd have missed some of the goodies I got at Mickey's World with the lowly S5200, due to having the wrong lens on the camera for the shot I wanted and not having or wanting to take the time to swap them (Mrs. YEKCIM, herself a semipro, was in Full Commando Mode at times, and not particularly inclined to wait while poor YEKCIM nailed another cool photo!).

Thanks for the thread ehagerty! I don't know which I enjoy more, the merchandise or just looking at your photos in particular!

Twoooldpoohs...your photos are amazing as well! You both make me want to take a photography class. I just might have to look into that...

Makes me all that more excited to get there :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc :bounce:
