For those of you who may not be familiar with it, the Onion (onion.com) is a satirical newspaper full of fake stories that are sometimes gross, sometimes hilarious. I haven't looked at it in months, but I looked today and lo and behold, the "infograph" section is "Disney's Financial Woes".
Quoting--
Disney's stock has fallen 20% over the last five years. What are the reasons?
--having mice and birds dress Michael Eisner each morning not cost effective.
--cynical viewing public no longer interested in love, hope, or triumph of the human spirit.
--remake of "Pete's Dragon" $83 million over budget, 17 weeks behind schedule.
--78% of the US population has been sued by Disney.
--steadily decreasing number of clapping children eventually resulted in death of Tinkerbell.
--HBO swiped that chimp that chose winning TV shows
--upper management wasted too much time swimming gleefully through gold coins in walk-in safe
--many employees failed to complay with mandatory work-related whistling regulations.
